I have American Collectors after Hagerty dropped me as they told me to my dismay after being with them for 10 years and never filing a claim, that they do not insure 600 HP or more vehicles. I filed a big claim with American Collectors for one of my cars and holy smokes they were TERRIFIC to deal with. it was a 30K claim and they did not fight ANYTHING at all. This from a type A picky guy, so I still have them so think about more than the premium-they never broke my stones for driving my car with mileage either, but I am paying more than another quote I received elsewhere. So don't go low bidder and then bitch-these guys in my opinion are worth the premium. I think I am at 50 and 70K agreed for $2400 a year and I am 45 years old and that is with 1K deductible but higher limits to protect myself (1M or higher).

I have USAA, moved to Florida last year, kept my Ohio policy and just changed my coverage to Florida a few days ago. It's going to cost me an extra $400 for 6 months to cover my vehicles by switching to Florida. Basically, it went up almost 50%, Florida costs more.

I went with State Farm, which surprisingly was cheaper than adding it to our Allstate plan with 2 other cars and homeowners insurance.

You guys have it good, real good. Here in Ontario, if you have any mods done, they put you into something called facility which for me was $370 a month with a clean record and 32 years old. If you lie about mods they won't cover any claims in the event of something happening. Strangle hold is what it is!!! Stock viper up here is $170 a month in Toronto.

I normally wouldn't. I never had one that low in my life and would most likely never use it if I had $750 worth of damage, would probably just pay out of pocket. But the difference was like $6 to drop from $1000 to $500 and then another $4 to drop to $250. So it was $10 per month for 4 cars.

Geico
2 cars (viper/BMW) under 1600 a year
Someone hit my BMW many years ago and Geico did the right thing.
I don't have the greatest coverage on the viper but it's good enough. It's not a daily driver
There's tons of factors when it comes to car insurance. ( area you live, history etc)

I did away with usaa years ago. Now I just bank with them. I'm insured through geico. Two cars, a ton of tickets and an accident is only $120/month.

I have USAA for my drivers, but switched to BJ for the Vipers. I was paying $900 per car, per year(3). Thru BJ, I am paying $950 for all of them, agreed value of $50K-$70K
