Picked the wife up a 2011 Explorer

Pretty slick SUV - it replaced a 2007 MDX. We tried out the SRX, ML, MDX and Explorer. Cant beat the features/price ratio. It's also nice to have the 7 passenger seating in a pinch. The sync system is nice, took about a day with it to figure out the interface. This is the first bluetooth sync that I have used in a car that actually works without being a total POS. The system in the Acura was horrendous and worked about 20% of the time. Being able to stream music from the iPhone without a cable is a really cool feature.

Their definitely nice, like I said in the other thread, interior fit and finish is awesome and drives real nice. Fords Sync system blows everyone else away once you get used to it. Hope they add the eco-boost 6 down the road.

It has blind-spot assist so I am guessing that is one of the sensors.

Give the sync about 3 weeks to fuck up with the iphone. I bought a 2011 F150 fully loaded, sync was AWESOME. Now, it wont connect half the time to my iphone to stream music, and occasionally it wont connect for phone calls either. They say you can fix it by rebooting the sync system. How do you do this? Pull the battery or the sync fuse. Real pain the in the ass. Dont get me wrong, I think Ford has REALLY turned a corner as for fit and finish and quality, but a microsoft product will eventually stop working with an apple one. Blows.

5 Passenger only, seemed underpowered - even with the turbo option and its a bit cramped up front. Its a nice looking SUV though - reminds me of the MDX somewhat.

That was my thought too, both engines especially the small 3.0 are just not suited to it, don't have the torque... feels like it's straining even with the turbo.

It is exactly that. My Cayenne TT had them all over the front and back, the look bothered me but the system is nice to have.
