I don't have one, but damn if they are not huge! I saw one at the dealership parked next to a Chrysler 300 and they appear to be the same size. Huge, I say! Huge!

That is all.

i have an '08 srt8. stock, power is so, so.

the timing is SO retarded from the factory its unbelievable and the torque mgt kills its take off.

i put a diablo tuner and mopar intake on it, and she picked up 75hp! as soon as i bought the car i brought back to my shop and dynoed it, then put the mods to it.

the car is one of my favorites to drive now. very solid and smooth.

love the interior and the room it has. very well built car. i have since added full length headers, hi-flow cats and corsa exhaust.
raced a new ss camero and not only beat it, but destroyed it.

if dodge would put the tune in the car that diablo has, they would win every magazine shootout with the camero. the car has a ton of potential, and i reccomend it.

Had an SRT8 Magnum, fun car. I'm waiting for the convertibles to come out for the challenger. I have yet to hear someone really bash the car that owned one. When you buy it, you know it's a pig. Just like every other car made today. Can add 100hp fairly easily, but past that, gets expensive.

There are 3 brand new SRT-8 Challengers on my local dealers lot...2 black and a silver. Looks good in silver.

I'm considering one in plum crazy next year & I have serious reservations about the SRT costing an extra $10 grand for 50 hp and wheels (in my opinion) that look like giant wagon wheels.

Challengers look awesome, but they need to be lower. I was in my car next to a challenger one time and it looked way too high next to mine. Lowering it will definitely help.

Looked at them seriously a couple of months ago. Build quality was shit, car was heavy, slow, huge and handled like a 63 Impala. Went with a Mustang and never looked back.

Ironic that you posted about this, earlier tonight I went out and drove a new SRT-8 Challenger and a new Camaro SS, the Challenger wins hands-down and I have to say that the drive quality was very good, smooth, exhaust note is excellent and with the 6 spd, she came up through the gears very nicely (old school pistol grip).

Yes, she is a big car, but damn if you couldn't put 5 people in it with room to spare, the back seat according to my brother-in-law (road in the back on the test drive) is very large and comfortable. The trunk is gigantic and the rear seats split if you need to put something big in the car to haul. My seat was very comfortable and the seat held me in place as I did some sideways driving while testing it. The NAVI is user friendly and the stereo had a gigantic sub in the truck (factory) and sounded great.

I want one to be honest.

Now, the question is, is an R/T the better option? I mean, you could put a supercharger, exhaust, chip and tune in it and be way more HP for less money. Thoughts?

Atta boy! The 2011 Coyote 5.0 (Mustang GT) is underrated @ 412 ponies (did 468 on an engine dyno) coupled with a 6 speed and a little over 3,500lbs.....should move out very well.

I agree, if anything they should have made this the sportier of the models (300c, Charger etc), but no they made it drive and wallow like a whale from the 70's... the 300C and Charger both drive and handle so much better wtf?!?!? Someone on here said they wanted it to replicate the feeling the original cars, well not surpised as they pretty much succeeded there.

I drove the SRT-8 as well and was not impressed at all (auto one, not 6 speed). I would take the Jeep SRT-8 over any of the otehr SRT-8's. The Jeep actually feels wild/fun and drives like a modern day muscle car.

I gotta say that new Mustang GT is going to make a nice, cheap fun daily with the new 5.0 and it weighs waaaaay less then the porker Camaro and Challenger.

Missed what I was saying.. I think we all know their based on the old E class chassis. What I was saying was they purposely made the Challenger mushy/wallowy feeling, the 300c and Charger both drive and handle much better. When IMO they should have made the Challenger the sportiest of the 3 being it's a coupe and supposed to be more aggressive.
