Yes he does, and there's more left if traction will hold.

That's scooting'

FLATOUT January 25th, 2015 10:12 AM

Unreal

Viper4Christ January 25th, 2015 10:21 AM

Like others have said, people used to be awestruck when speeds like that were clocked at full mile events. Provided the cars stability and traction could continue to hold, a mile pass at that mph gain would easily be 265+ if not well into the 70's.

Good work KC and UR crew. :thumbs2:

BigBadViper February 1st, 2015 03:38 AM

Definitely fast, but I wouldn't want to be driving at those speeds.

It is one thing to go 0 - 100 in a couple of seconds, it is another to go almost 250 mph.

TheMadMachinist March 24th, 2015 01:46 PM

Just wondering what it costs to go this fast all in and is it still street-able at this level?

They are still streat-able but have lost most of there daily driver appeal. Pretty much any camp will cost 200k+ the car. Just the dogbox transmissions are 50k+.

I can tell you it is very surprising how well these cars drive on the street.

Are you speaking from personal experience? There is very little difference from stock performance, unless you punch it.

Yes I am. I agree for a 2000hp car that holds the 6 speed record in the 1/2 mile my buddies 2r does well but VP import is a little pricey. His stock gallardo makes a better daily driver imho. A bolt on car is virtually identicle to stock.

sonofadragracer March 25th, 2015 09:49 PM

Hell yeah!!! Very nice Kevin / UGR....:dude3:

Those damn granny gears are working.

:D

The majority of UR vehicles are not being driven around using C16, on a daily basis. Modified engine builds, like Stage 2 or 3, that are set for 800 - 1000 HP on 93, drive very close to stock. You can even have the boost by gear set to get better traction/less power in the lower gears.

Agreed. I am a huge fan and would like to get one. For daily use the cars that are set for world records lose some of their drivability in my opinion. The cars designed to make 800-1400hp retain 98% of the drivability in my opinion.

Darius March 30th, 2015 10:58 PM

That car just did 233 in 15 seconds, that's insane.

On the surface they have to run on that is amazing.

Imagine a 1/2 mile dragstrip with VHT prep where full on drag slicks could hook that beast.

I wonder if anyone will ever make such a track?
