I love the Ram mounts and have one on my bike, but they didn't have anything that mounted nicely in my STi. The CD slot mount is really perfect. I hadn't thought of getting one for the Viper but I certainly will now.

I'm about to buy a viper in Vegas and drive 2200 miles home, so having GPS, and an app like waze showing police locations, is going to be really important to me.
Your reply is so laughable. So you really think that handling the cell phone while driving, wherever that convenient placement is, regardless of how trivial your distraction to it might be, is better than my approach of putting it in my pocket where I do not use it at all while driving my Viper? Really? Fucking really?

Since I'm not capable of leaving it in my pocket, yes. If you can do it, cool. I can't.

You can apply some scratch protection film to avoid damaging the dash.

Just got 3 of these delivered today. Seems to works great on my GenV and the wife's car so far. Should work in my GTS too. I'm going to order a couple more for my kid's cars. Much cleaner than the windshield suction one I had. Nice find.
