Okay I have sat on this long enough. 99RT/10 and I "WON" a dead pedal kit from Vipair Performance after we paid our entry fees to the race. While every other "winner" got their prize without issue, Mike and I never received anything. I am not blaming Richie as I know that he did everything that he could.
"Steve" came on here at first and said the drawing was not done right because Richie just gave the prizes to 2 of his friends. I do not know RIchie other than sending him my entry fee to Bradenton. I have never met Mike 99RT/10 other than interacting on the board a few times.
I think this is about as low as a vendor can get. You took all of the advertising associated with the Bradenton event and even delivered the big ticket item (carbon fiber hood) because you knew it would grab attention on the board.
You later tried to put the whole issue to bed by posting that the dead pedal kits were "buried in storage" and that as a true "man of your word" you would eventually deliver them.
Keep your dead pedals Steve but know that you will NEVER make or sell a part for my Viper and I will tell every Viper owner that I ever meet that you are a lying douchbag.
My shipping girl is back next week, the hood did not go out yet. the dead pedals did not go out yet. I run my company and do not do shipping. the dead pedals will go out on Monday.
On Monday I will get the shipping pricing on the hood, I tried getting it but the costs seemed TOO high as I told Kelly $600.00, should have been $300.00
Once I get my shipping girl to get the proper pricing, I will give Kelly a call.
ALSO - the Hoods that were offered were the GEN1 and GEN 2 comp coupe style hoods, not the GEN 4 style hood, which was given away to Kelly, but I am still sending out a GEN 4 hood to him.
AND PS any more Snotty f'ing voice mails about how Woodhouse could give a shipping price right away and I will send out nothing!
Wood House would not support this race, and if they did they would make damn sure the prizes were prizes.
I supported your race with PRIZES, now it is giveaways to who the hell knows. And then I start getting flack and attitude, when my *&%#$%^& shipping girl is out on vacation?? I have 3 other people that handle my international shipping ie. containers going to and from China to where ever in the world, but I omly have the one person that deals with shipping car parts via truck/fed ex/UPS/mail.
Total BS. Not impressed! and now people in the thread start asking where is my giveaway , weeks before ....
So I am going to be out of pocket, a couple of thousand and get bad press for trying to help you.
This is a small example of what I had to go through in order to award the prizes that Vipair was giving away. I do not normally post others PM's but this is strictly business. I will never purchase or approach Steve about anything he is involved with. There was a vendor alert on the VCA about Steve back in Sept from a member named Jabbate. Same shipping excuses. I did not realize it takes months to get quotes to ship hoods both in the US and overseas

I had to contact DC Performance, to get my USED hood shipped. I had to make all the arrangements via a local performance shop that ships parts all over the world. Thanks to them, I got it before Bradenton.

Just as an FYI to all the ALLEY MEMBERS, Kelly wanted the hood in advance so he could paint the hood to match his car. Since I had a shipping issue I UPGRADED KELLY to a CARBON FIBER HOOD for FREE so he would not have to paint it,
I told him in advance that this one was not perfect, that the hood had been returned because my carbon guy had gotten a hand print in the clear gel coat but since he was going to paint the FIBERGLASS hood he "WON" anyways, this one would get him through the event and look good and then he could clear coat it or paint it as he wished. At the time this seemed like a great deal for Kelly!

I told him my shipping costs were coming in high because the domestic shipping girl was away and suggested that he get his own pricing, it worked out better for him, who'd of think that he would whine about that TOO! The deal with Richie was FREE HOOD NO SHIPPING ie. FOB my warehouse hoods are not cheap to ship.
And as you know KElly, you do have a history of ordering stuff and then not paying for it so I thought it best YOU pay your own shipping so I didn't get screwed out of the shipping costs, never did take delivery of those painted autoform parts you had someone order and paint for you, did you Kelly?

How did you spend $1000. ? Painting it like you were going to anyways? Shipping like you had to anyways? Prepping for paint like you had to anyways?

I just stated the facts. Since the truth hurts, here are a couple more...
Your hood had a lot more defects, other than a hand print in the weave. Anyone who got closer than 10' in Bradenton witnessed that.
The chicken wire grills you sent, don't even fill in the area of the vents in the hood.
You told me to call DC and make my own shipping arrangements, so I did.
Unlike you, DC was great to deal with.
