Question Ram SRT 10 Exhaust Issue

Greetings.

Does any one have any tips on an exhaust system for the Ram SRT 10’s. Ideally I would like a set of tuned headers, free flowing exhaust with that aggressive viper tone like on my 650R. I keep running into dead ends with this truck. Any help or tips would be very appreciated.

Thanks
BIG MIKE

Srt-10 Cat Back

Mike, trot on down to your local Dodge dealer ,as they have a kick a-- system that is bolt on.The only place it is listed is their '07'accessory catalog. In the listing it say's 50+hp for the '04-05'.There is also a listing for the '06',but no hp rating. The cold air is also a neat feature that makes the hood scoop real. mrmopar

Hi Guys, Quick Question. Right now My 06 Quad cab is stock. I'm ordering a custom stage 2 flash + Volant ram air cold air system. Do you think I will run high 12's with these mods. Or will I be Faster than a regular cab Ram.

Any of you guys have a stage 2 flash on your quad cab ram srt 10. Seriously
does it make a huge difference. I mean Will it put you back in your seat in every gear. I'm saying this is because I used to have a Lightning, and that damn truck just pulled and pulled like there was no end.

DC flash on a quad is the best mod for this truck....the flash, b and b headers, no cats and magnaflow exhaust and the truck ran a consistent 12.9-13.0 every time down the strip....stock, this thing is a big pig, the flash brought it to life

You can probably hang with an RC with those mods and even beat a few of those who cant drive

If you want get into the 12's then put on a set of mids and a cat back and you will smoke stock RC's all day long and most unsuspecting C5's and Porche 911's

Ok Thanks For the response. what I don't get is that this Quad cab ram srt 10 weighs just as much as the Bentely Continental flying spur. 5500lbs.
So The Bentley does 13. flat in the quarter with relatively the same amount of horsepower given the mods are done on the truck. But it has almost 100ftlbs less torque. 480 compared to 560ft lbs with the flash done from dc. So I clearly don't get it. I think they really overrated this Bentley. What do you guys think.

Drag Coefficient might be a little different!

brick vs. arrow.

Bentley = 0.31Cd drag coefficient

Ram SRT = 0.45Cd drag coefficient

Thanks Joel, But I know you need Torque to get off the line, And You Know That torque is all the driver feels Bottom line. Horsepwer you don't feel.
And I know That Turbo Cars make more boost In all rpm ranges, Not only at peak like a supercharger. So Thats Probably the difference In the Bentely Vs. The ram srt 10 quad cab. Superchargers Make Linear Boost, while Turbo Hit very Hard Right after you shift.

???
My response had nothing to do with HP/TQ. Simply that all things being equal (HP/TQ) the better drag coefficient wins. For example, putting a wing on a GTS adds down force but it also slows the car down because it raises the drag coefficient.

Yo I just Talked To Dan At Dc Peformance, He I the Owner. He said That he's going to make me a Custom Pcm With 80 Hp and 80ftlb, Only If I run 100 Octane. So I think 590 Bhp And 610 ftlbs will Get me into the 12's according to him and his program. I mean Just do the Math. I know with a Intake, Cat back, and this 80 hp program with 100 Octane I will Easily beat a Rc Srt 10 and C6 corvettes. Let me know what you think. Rememebr I have 06 Quad cab srt 10

Hey Thanks for the quick responses. So I am Going to get the 80 hp Program Plus Intake, On A good day with a good launch Do you think I can Acheive what you acheived 12.9 without any exhaust upgrade. Just 80 hp Plus Intake. Remember I'm going to have 20 more hp On the flash than you so that might make up for not having headers.

get rid of the mids and get a magnaflow and you should reach 12.8-13.1...the mopar headers were not worth the buck or the aggravation. I had one of the first sets installed on a quad in the country and they didnt fit...they were such a pain in the ass because they were poorly designed, i am sure they are corrected now, but back then it sucked...

srt engineering hated me so much they sent me a free ram air kit for my troubles
