Hi Zen Garage Its me again. So Anyways I used to own a Lightning and that shit was quick and pulled like hell. So your saying that If I get that 80 hp program or maybe Magnaflow exhaust I Will Beat a stock Lightning. Because right now The stock version Is slow off the line Like something is holding it back. Thanks

i honestly dont know if you can beat a stock lightening....it will however pull much better than stock form.....highflows and magnaflow will help or go balls out, custom fab a mid pipe with no cats and the magnaflow...you will need roe sims without the cats

Thanks, Well I assume If 12.9- 13.1 Is Reachable Than Thats Pretty good.
The Only thing with Lightning's was They were so quick on the low end, I mean Like 0 to like 40 or 50. I'm sorry I keep asking you These questions. After yout tune Did yours hook up from a standstill or just Pell out? And how did it do on top speeds like 60-100, 0r 80-120

Dude,

He already gave you great advice. Go get the flash and do your cat-delete midpipes. Then find a stock Lightning and have at it.

What Kind of tune are they getting out of the regular cabs? I heard its less than than the quad. He is saying 80 hp for the quad on 100 octane.

It's going to vary a little from truck to truck. Mods will make a difference. A STOCK QC puts down about 415-420 to wheels (give or take a few). A STOCK RC puts down 430-435 rwhp (give or take). The difference is the QC auto tranny has torque management and is "de-tuned" a little in stock form.

The QC PCM flash shows a bigger gain only because of the torque management reduction. If the QC and the RC are both flashed they will be putting down about the same hp to the ground. Realistically they should both put down about 450-460 rwhp with just a stage II flash and 93 octane gas.

What Does yours have? Dan Is shipping me 80 hp and 80 ftlb. So when you say Get rid of Torque Management Your saying this beast is going to do a Stationary Burnout right? It Won't harm My Engine will it?

Picked up 18rwhp and 29ft lbs by replacing the stock mids with a set of B&B mids with HF cats.

These trucks have 4 cats. You need to remove 4 and add 2 high flows. Several companies sell the midpipes complete with the high flows installed. It's a simple R&R.

We have had good results with the Ram trucks. There are several good exhaust systems.
For a California legal setup the Bassani headers are best. 49 state legal the Mopar long tubes or Bellangers are best. We have calibrations to go with both of these systems for RC and QC trucks. The QC's get the biggest boost from the programs as they are de-tuned for towing. If you do not tow the program really wakes it up. The K&N CAI or drop in filter helps also.

The RC's tend to have clutch issues if you drag race them, we have a clutch and hydraulic system upgrade to help this.
