David Weaver & American Racing Tech (A.R.T.)

Just wanted to post how happy I am with David Weaver and American Racing Tech (A.R.T.). Having heard nothing but good things about Dave from his days at the Dodge Dealership in Austin, I gave him a call about installing my Roe S/C setup and some other items. He answered all my questions and was willing to work around my schedule to do the work I wanted.

The car was dropped off at A.R.T. and I must say they have a very nice shop up there. Again, David answered all my questions and basically explained everything he would need to do. I am not one to constantly call a shop wanting updates on the car but David took the time to call or email me updates almost daily. While it wasn't necessary, I appreciated the great customer service.

Arriving at the shop to pick the car up, I couldn't have been happier. The work was well done and clean. David spent about 45 minutes going over EVERY detail of the car and the ins & outs of the new setup. I'm new to the Viper so this information was GREATLY appreciated!

I've got some other stuff that needs to be done and I've already got David lined up to do the work as well. If you need some work done, head over to A.R.T., they will take good care of you and your Snake.

Thanks again Dave! :thumb:

David Weaver and the whole crew are awesome. I am lucky to be so close to them; however, if I wasn't, I would still find a way to take my viper there.

Awesome work and great staff.

Thanks ART.

I drive 6 hours up hill both ways to take my cars there...

DW is completely anal and has always done perfect work.

Worth the drive from Midland...

David has become an extremely proficient tuner. He makes a pull, does a quick analysis of the curves, then starts updating maps for another pull. He keeps close track of the mechanics working under him, and Cody makes sure everyone has what they need to be productive and successful.

I can just imagine how much more could get done if everyone in the world wasn't bugging Dave on the cell phone 14 hrs/day.

You know you have a problem when you are drunk dialing your tuner.

Just not sure if it is a drinking problem or a horsepower problem....both make you feel pretty damn nice though.

Weaver and Cody of ART

I felt that I had to start a new thread about these guys. I brought Rockstars future SRT to them to have them take a few things off of the car, and then decided to bring them a new coupe to start playing with. Leaving a brand new car there was not something that I thought that I would do, but Weaver came highly regarded, so I did.

About a week later, I have a coupe that I absolutely love. They installed Motons, Belanger headers, corsa track, rotors, rockers etc....and will be doing a Paxton kit for me in the near future. I can not tell you how impressed I was with the knowledge, courtesy calls, Cody hunting parts for me, Weaver running to get Greg's car inspected, making David screw with all of my Viper taxed MGW shit etc...Weaver didn't even steal my dip that I left in the car(which to us Texas folk says alot).

I am overly impressed with every aspect of their business. It is a convenient distance for me to drive the car there, but I can honestly say that I would ship the car to them if they weren't local. It is nice to be able to drop two of my Vipers off, not even talk about price, and then pick up a more than reasonable bill.

I will only spend money with people that I like and trust, and there is plenty more to be spent at their shop. I really appreciate all of their work, and I will post some pictures once the wheels come in.

Sorry for the nut swing, but I am truly appreciative of their work.

I definitly have to agree with Mr. Tucker on this one, I know I'm new to the viper Alley , and dont have a Viper '' SRT'' but my ram definitly has its heart. After installing a twin turbo system it hit a glitch and decided not to use the number 3 piston any longer. But David and Cody both are going WAY outta there way to make things right. Even with David being so tied up with getting all the vehicles ready for the up comming event, they took time to call me with details. Plus are actually installing things that I have added after the fact. My truck is over 1300 miles away from me, and I know ART is taking care of my ride. As of this moment they are going to try to get it together with billet mains, oliver rods, pistons , cam , in time for the up comming event, and hopefully bring some smiles in the ART camp.Maybe even a little competition into the event from a "truck" But really, I would suggest these good group of guys to anyone wanting to get just about anything done to their viper. I personally cant say enough good things about them. Thanks Cody and David.

Tucker, I saw your vipers when I picked up mine last Friday. Love the color (red) of the coupe. Very nice!

I feel the same way you do about leaving my Viper with anyone. However, when I dropped off my viper and saw twelve (12) other vipers, I felt really at ease and I didnt worry a bit.

Before I got on the viperalley, I took my car to a local dealer in San Antonio. While there, I was watching them go over it when I noticed they were trying to shut the hood. Well after they tried numerous times, I had to come and help them shut it. I immediately got my car and left.

I found DW based on great recommendations from other viper owners here on the alley. I am sure glad we have ART.

Chris
