but definitely subscribing to this thread....
I've owned convertibles before and never liked the cheap "roll hoops" installed Thy the manufacturers.
he ones on my old BMW Z4 looked metal, but were plastic! (for looks only! )
and my Ex's #50z convertible had zero roll over protection.
Not that I drive it like I stole it, but in the event I get hit by someone else; like a drunk running a stop sign or something and T-boning me, I would want that extra protection
