Man good video! Jealous of having that much open/smooth road. Don't have that around here. That bike is nasty!
Thanks man, I think the person that you traded cars with lives around us in DFW right? I fell in love the second I saw the GTS Blue paintjob. Can't wait to see it around.
Any race in a big HP/weight vehicle (meaning car/bike/whatever), driver ability is probably the biggest factor. Makes a huge difference for sure. So anyone can win on any given day.
x1000 on that! Alot of ppl think because they have a 1000cc bike they are fast. That couldn't be further from the truth. Most 1000cc bikes will go out to the track and run 11's because they cant ride worth a crap, i only other hand went out on my first night, bone stock 07 1000 and went 9's at over 140mph. That was 60+ rw hp ago and i haven't had a chance to get back out. Just so you guys dont think im talking out of my ass ive been riding/drag racing bikes for awhile. And never actually had a full blown drag bike. All my bikes run on a DOT street tire and can be ridden anywhere.
2002 Hayabusa- 1397cc built motor, ported head, custom cams, built trans, nice clutch, arm, body work, etc..... full blown street bike that makes over 300hp the shot and over 200 hp on motor. With the big pills in this bike it is capable of well over 350rw hp.
2007 GSXR 1000- Bone stock motor, nitrous kit, good clutch, arm, etc...Makes around 250rw on a dry shot
Sorry for the long post. But like ive said before it could all be up to the rider/driver of either vehicle. I plan on getting some runs in with some pretty fast cars on my little stock motor 1000 to see how i do. Also thinking about building a 400hp turbo 1000 but havent decided yet.

To be honest, I'm not sure. His name is Her Dragon on the board.
I have Rodney Williford in my back yard, builds a bunch of BADASS turbo bikes. Him and I became good friends when I owned the track. He'd do a lot of testing for customer bikes. I held the biggest bike only bracket race in the country last year, a 20k race. I've always enjoyed the bikes, but know dick about them. I've seen some VERY fast bikes go down the track. NC is a haven for fast grudge bikes. There are quite a few 4 second no bar bikes in this area.

Hell yes it is, you guys have great air up there! Im a very long way from running 4's on anything! Williford racing builds some pretty bad ass bikes. Grudge racers are getting crazy now, 7 second ET's and such for big money.
There are alot of guys out there daily driving and hobby riding 8 sec ET/170+ mph bikes. A typical 1200hp viper traps what 170-175? I think this could lead to some really good racing video's
I can't trap those type of MPH's, I'm converter limited. The advantage of I have is no shifting. With slicks, mid 8 second car, but probably 160 mph. The same ET in a 6 speed would likely be 10mph higher

oh yeah your car is a beast no doubt! Probably my single favorite viper of all time.

Nice looking bikes, you going to run them at the Mile?

The same set up with a more agressive build and striker heads with some 78's or 88mm turbo's and a good driver would be VERY hard to beat especially at top end speed.
This was with Striker heads and T78's with the boost turned down.
That mustang was up in Flint, Mi running a few weeks ago. It is a very nice car.
Yep, it was a HPP built TT Car, similar to Manny's personal car. The previous owner is a good friend of mine, and he sold it to a friend, Chris I believe is his name. That car has gone 9.81 @ 148.8 on drag radials here at Texas Motorplex in Ennis. That was the first 1000rwhp car I ever rode in, and 4th gear was the most impressive gear (for me personally) in that car.

Yup thats the car. I just didnt want to say who owned it because of his proffession, you never know whos watching. Car looks and runs great it just needs a auto and it would really rip then. HPP did a great job on the build.
