I just lowered my price on my 06 Slate Convertible to $49,900 w/7400 miles in the classifieds! I've debated about putting her back in storage again while I head back overseas but this time I'll be gone around a year. She usually only does 3-4 months in storage with a fresh oil change and wax job. I think this price is extremely low for an 06 Viper in unbelievable condition but the market condition dictates the price. So what do you guys think? My other reason is if I dont make it back from overseas, than my X wife will get it for free and I dont want that to happen! I could not stand her new husband driving around in my baby as it would probably turn me over in my grave! The car is located in San Diego. Ok, start sending the bullets down range and let me know.
Thanks guys for the support! I havent placed it on fleebay cuz i already get enough solicitated advertisers calling me! Has anybody got the calls saying, "We have buyers waiting to buy your car, just send us money and we'll put you in contact!" What a bunch of crap and who would pay for that? They always say there is no guarantee of a buyer but will try their best. In todays internet age and horrible economy, I'm to believe somebody would pay somebody else to car shop for them? I know if you have enough money to pay for a shopper, price does not matter but for the other 99.99% of the population, it does. I'll step off my pedestal and on a good note, I have gotten alot of calls on the viper but my bottom line price is as stated otherwise, Ill button her up for long term storage when I leave, its just alot of prep work to get her ready for hybernation.
P.S. I'll even throw in paying for half your one way plane ticket to San Diego if you buy the viper! (STIPULATIONS: Only within CONUS and completed purchase transaction) I can make myself available to pick you up from the airport. This is the only budge i'll make on the price as I dont want anybody to buy without doing one's due diligence on the viper! I'm extremely confident you will be impressed!
Just wanted to let everybody know that the Viper is sold. It will be picked up on Friday and yes, as promised I'm paying for half his airfare to beautiful (well minus the fires) San Diego. The buyer is actually on this site, so when he picks it up, I'll let him pipe in his thoughts if he wants to. I have to admit, I pretty much gave the viper away but at least he will put it to good use vise sitting in the garage for a year. He is now the proud owner of 2 vipers (Gen II and Gen III) and Im jelous. I'll keep popping my head back in hear when Im overseas and check in on everybody.
Good morning. I woke up and decided to pull the trigger on buying your Viper. I see I'm a day late. In case for some reason the deal doesn't happen, please let me know.
I want to wish you good luck overseas and to also thank you for your service.
God bless ya,
Gary
Well, I was the lucky person that got to buy this pristine example of a lightly used car! Bullfrog208 kept this car in showroom or better condition and it shows. I flew out to San Diego Friday and he was nice enough to go over the entire car with me, inside and out. It is absoutely like he said it was and I am VERY HAPPY with the car! Anyhow, I left San Diego Saturday morning, stayed in El Paso Saturday night, and made it back to Houston last night, 1500 miles of fun! Spent most of the day washing and detailing both of the Vipers, I love them both for different reasons, but hope to keep both for a very long time!
