Nitrous

Hey gents. I've never had a nitrous system on any car I've ever owned. I'm currently in an 06 Coupe w/ intake & tune. I've been thinking more & more about installing a system, but wanted to get some advice/opinions from the experienced ones out there, don't wanna wind up a guinea pig. I know the safety a wet setup can provide & would probably head that route regardless of the type of shot I decide to go with. Few questions.

1) What shot can the motor safely hold? I don't daily the car (it has 5k miles on it right now), but don't want to have to change the motor @ 30k miles either.

2) Any recommendations on what system to purchase/most people have had success with?

3) I'm living in South Florida. As I would have the system installed professionally, any recommendations on a shop? DLM maybe?

Thanks in advance.

- Matt

I'd go dry with Vec/AEM controlled fuel enrichment if it were me. I am sure Doug would do a very good job if you took it there.

I ordered the Viper-specific NX kit. Dual nozzle, 100-300 adjustable.

Bottle warmer & window switch as well. Doug should be installing it next week.

I'm putting down around 470 to the wheels right now with an intake & tune. NX rates their kits at the wheel. If I have Doug jet for the 150, can I expect 600whp? Reliable? 600 is the goal.

As long as the nitrous is tuned with the fuel, a 150 is no problem.
