His review was pretty spot on, except for the shifter. The stock one sucks.

You know, I love the GEN II's styling quite a bit more than the GEN III/IV, but my God, the ACR's so perfect in every other way that I wouldn't think twice about getting one over a GEN II. The car is truly a high water mark in production cars. I think it is a very appropriate response to the ZR1. I want to see one on the new 6 spoke rims.

Very cool vid. Id think you'd be hard pressed to find a racecar driver that wouldnt love the nannyless ACR.
He hit on the gearing too as many have. Would have been nice for Dodge to offer the ACR with its own shorter gear ratio as its really geared for the track duty so fuel milage shouldnt be a factor in the gearing choice as it is in the more road friendly version.

I'm still looking for the ACR's limits, maybe if I owned one instead of borrowing one I woulda found the limit by now.
The gearing is tall, I'm touching 150 mph in the front str8 of WSIR in 4th.
I told ya the shifter had to go

I'm gonna drive by your office and throw the stock shifter at your front door!

The '08 shifting is great, but the stock shifter feels like a yardstick it's so long. It was the only thing I changed.

The ACR looks so wicked. He also posted a 1.35 at Laguna, which is flying for a bonestock car..
