2005 SRT-10 CD not working

2005 SRT-10 CD not working

My CD's are not working anymore. The AM/FM work fine but when I hit the mode button the CD option i gone. Also cannot load or eject any CD's. it's like it doesnt reconize it has a CD player or something

I tried removing the battery to reset but still no luck

I have a 03 and sort of the same thing happened to me.I just hit it real hard with the side of my fist and it started working again. good luck!. Might be time for a upgrade.

Did you reset the CCM (CD Control Module) in the trunk? It's kinda tough to get to but there's a toggle switch under the mat, close to the battery.

If you can't get it working, I still have a like-new factory unit available from my '06 that I only used for the first month that I owned the car. I replaced it with a RB-1 nav. Make an offer if you want it...
