I was on my way to Ocean City, MD yesterday afternoon. I started to notice a slight hesitation in 5th and 6th gears. Just after being pulled over for not displaying a front tag, my check engine light went on. Before I could find a place to pull over the whole car shut down doing 75mph. Lucky for me there was a small boatyard parking lot I was able to drift into. When I try tried to start it, all the warning lights showed and nothing happened. Everything electrical is working. I waited 4 hours on Rt. 50 for the tow truck back to Baltimore. It's sitting at a dealer waiting for the Viper tech on Monday. I'm pretty nervous. It's never been to a dealer. Does this sound like the PCM? Any input would be appreciated.
Wow! You guys are really funny. I hope it never happens to you. Thanks for the input.
I would take it to the dealer, computer reflash maybe? I dont know. Be prepared my friend there are a lot of stupid people on here, this forum is not heavily moderated. Therefore you get all kinds of ignorant comments like the ones above. Dont pay them any attention there are a few decent people on here. Id take it to the dealer and let them know that this crap is not going to cut it.
Make note of the mileage on the car, its not totally out of the realm of possibility for someone at the dealership to take it for a "test ride". If you do a search you'll find several totalled Vipers from stuff just like what I described.

What did you describe? The car won't start. The dealer can't get anything from the PCM.
