The shifters are all the same from 92 thru 2006. You can get the B&M #45055. SVS has a very nice piece too.

Since when do they make short-shifters? Do you mean shift knob?

MGW short throw shifter is available from Woodhouse. I Had mine installed more than a month ago. At that time it was not listed on the MGW site.

I agree. My MGW shifter works great. They had three lengths. I bought the middle one.

It still isn't on the MGW website. Just have to call them?

I am looking for one too. Is the B&M Shifter or MGW Shifter a better product? What about ease of install?

Install is pretty straightforward, the main thing to remember is to just take your time.
Personally I prefer the B&M compared to other shifters I've tried.

What is the difference between the B&M and the stock shifter with the MGW knob?
I put the MGW knob on and the actual shifting is no easier than stock. Looks better, but not easier.
I think the factory shifter is very knotchy and clunky. For a really smooth shift you have to be dead on into the gate/teeth??? if you know what I mean.
If I switch, the only reason would be to get smoother shifts compared to stock. Is that going to help me if I switch to B&M or MGW?

I have heard good things about all 3 shifters (B & M, MGW, and SVS). I would say buy from SVS, as they are probably the cheapest around right now.

MGW has a shifter for the GEN3+, but it wouldn't work on the GEN2 because of clearance issues. I was the test car for the GEN2 setup.

Do any of these make shifting through the gears any less clunky? Or is that a function of the tranny just being designed that way.
Is there anything that can make the shifting easier thant the stock shifter?

I had the B&M on my ' GTS and the MGW on my '06. Both worked great but I prefer the B&M, felt a little smoother.
