2011 the last year for the Viper?
I hope this isn't true.
Jalopnik seems convinced the decision has already been made. Originally they had planned to produce the Gen 4 for two years and then come out with a revised model in 2010 or 2011.

I think it was december 21st that the world ended so there is time to make 2012 vipers. As far as what time the world ends, I think it would be 12:00 AM and that stuff is usually GMT.

Our only hope is that Cerebrus (who bought Dodge) will sell before then, and I think that the only reason that they bought Dodge is to sell it for a profit so who knows???? Bottom line, if they keep Dodge, Viper is history in 2011!

Not true. I, for one, can't wait to get a FFE (Final Final Edition). Now that's a keeper!

A friend of mine just got back from the Daytona SRT track experience and SRT has stated that the 09 will be tha last year for the Viper. Horsepower will increase about 15 HP over the ZR1 and they will be done. They most likely will not anounce that the car will be done till after the production run. So now will be the time to pull the trigger if you have been wating. I have posted another thread with colors and options for the 09's
