Emissions

Well just passed emissions in my 06 coupe. I thought they were going to put it on the rollers and put a sniffer in the tailpipe but they didn't. The tech told me as long as my car doesn't throw any codes you will pass every time. I have the corsa track 3 inch with RT high flows. I know want to go a full Belanger with no cats. If I get the O2 sims, will I pass my emissions?

I'm not sure if every state folows the same guidelines, but the mechanic I use said as long as the car throws no codes when he hooks up his computer to it, it'll pass.

I also don't know if there's a Visual inspection to see if the cats are intact?
