So I'm obviously biased since I'm just finishing up my Street Serpent, and here's my 2 cents. Jeff Lemke has been very politically correct in not showing his Street Serpent directly compared with a stock SRT. While the SRT is a very fine Viper, once you see the aggressive body lines of the Serpent, you would be hard pressed to like the SRT over the Serpent. Had Dodge designed the SRT like Jeff's kit, there probably would not have been the comparisons to the Honda 2000 like there was.
In a word, ATTITUDE is the biggest difference between the stock SRT and the Street Serpent. The Street Serpent recaptures some of the attitude of the orginal Viper while taking advantage of the awesome platform that the Gen 3 provides. For me it was an easy decision since I was rebuilding a wrecked SRT.
If you are truely considering buying a used Blue/Whilte Viper - you owe it to yourself to look at that one in person. I can guarantee that the pride and craftsmanship that Jeff put into it are unmatched - and if you really want a Paxton or TT, you already have a hood that will provide additional cooling.
