Before/After shots of Chrome Intake Manifold

We recently chromed a Viper SRT intake manifold, though you be interested in seeing some before/after shots.

It would be $450 to your own intake manifold like this.

Thanks for sharing your efforts, but if I wanted a shinier intake I probably opt to have a chrome-like heat barrier coating applied instead ..

- It'd be way cheaper too.

We've got plenty of customers making well over 1000rwhp with fully chromed engine bays, so I would not worry about it. Changes in intake air temps are minimal due to how quickly the air moves through the plenum.

a whole engine bay is diffrent then a intake. a valve cover doesnt hold heat where the air is...
you should atleat notify your customers... its the RIGHT thing to do, but ohwell.
got any pics of these 1000whp motors? would LOVE to see them.

I think most people are pretty aware of the fact that chrome is one of those things where you want it to look really nice at the small sacrifice of some performance (weight, insulation, etc).

Looks good. How much to chrome the intake if it's already polished?
