2003 Resale Value
I'm looking to sell my car and was wondering what a dealer might give right now in this market. It's a Black 2003 with about 18k. Upgrades include DC Performance PCM, 3:55 gears and new PS Sport tires. Other than that, the car is stock. I realize that selling the car myself will net me more, but how much more? Any opinions would be appreciated.

I've got a dealer black book but no Viper listed. Calling them to see if they have a specialty car book, I'll get back with you if so. If you are gonna trade, black book is 95% of what a dealer will give. However, larger city dealer trade-in always means more money on high performance cars.

Some dealers will give you a lot more for your trade, but they will make it up on the new car purchase price. It's usally apples for apples. You need to pay attention to the "buy up" cost.

Obviously. He really didn't want to give it away, but after receiving zero offers, he just decided to unload it.
