Just sold my Vette yesterday, and quite honestly, one of the reasons I had it was the interior room. I have been looking for a GEN II RT/10, but after riding in one today, its pretty damn cramped for me. The GEN III prices aren't too much higher...how much more room do you have, specifically from your hips down to the pedals? It felt like my knee's were almost touching each other in the drivers seat. Also, is gettin in and out any easier than the GEN II cars?
Thanks fella's...I can't wait to step up to the Viper!
It appears they are trying to hijack your thread with bush league smack.
I have owned a few GTS's and the knees on the dash was a pain and I'm about 6'-2". I am in the process of buying a Gen III myself and the one's I have driven are a little better, but not much. I think Doc is a bit taller than myself and he has owned a Gen III for a while, hopefully he will chime in.

cough, cough...pretty sure I'm familiar with both cars. The SRT10 has a bunch more than the GTS. Now back to the BLS
I have both a GTS and an SRT. The GTS is more roomy. I'm not tall so I don't know about the knees going into the dash but otherwise, the GTS is more spacious. The seats are not as bolstered though. Outward visibility is also better in the GTS. Regardless, both are very comfortable for my size (dwarf-like, albeit not as smurfed out and deformed as "Flatbed" Fadi).

We prefer "vertically challenged", you crass son of a bitch. With Fadi, you can add in "hetrosexually challenged" as well. Please use these terms as opposed to the heartbreaking rhetoric that comes so naturally to you.

Damn, I must be drunk, I thought this was the SRT section and not AG!
Sylvan, I think it is tighter in the shoulders also. Then again, I have Tyson like shoulders that would land most of you nerds belly up, in short order, should we engage in pugilistic activities. The GTS feels quite a bit roomier to me and to answer one member's question, the GTS is much easier getting into and out of than the SRT. Before anybody gets the wrong idea; I love the ergos in the SRT but they are quite a bit more snug than those of the GTS.
Sylvan, you might be correct that it has to do mostly with the seats. However, I also have a bit of a problem with the pedals. When I push down the brake on the SRT, my foot seems to hit the gas pedal as well. I don't have that problem with the GTS.
