2005 Copperhead wheels?

Are the 5 spoke copperhead wheels different than the 2006 5 spoke wheels? If so, what are the differences?

Yes, VERY different! Hard to explain how other than to say that the '06 and newer ones look better than the Copperheads. Much more aggressive looking. I've had both side by side and bought the newer ones for my '02 GTS. IMO Copperheads look like they should be on a FWD car.

I had my dealer replace the standard 5-spoke rims on my 2008 with the Sidewinder wheel which is essentially the wheel on the 2005 Copperhead and the 2008 ACR. I agree that the standard 5-spoke looks better but if you are interested in performance the Sidewinder rims save approximately 30 lbs total compared to the stock 5 spoke rims. Bear in mind that from a weight savings perspective this is especially good since it is unsprung, rotational mass that is being reduced which impacts handling, braking and acceleration.
