I think the Gen I's are about 12 and 21.... Best way to save gas is to leave the car in the garage.

You guys need to beat your cars more. I get a LOT less than that, but then again I am usually pushing the gas pedal to the floor even in school zones

took the viper from Lubbock to Austin (375 miles) and only used about 1\4 of a tank.........but in all fairness, it was on a trailer. :-D

Wanna laugh? I got an old beat up 78 Ford Fiesta (german made, not the korean) and it averages 35 city, 42 highway lol. With a good tailwind, it might see the topside of 85 mph

I average around 7 or 8. If I spend some time going easy on teh highway when there is no traffic I will get in the 20s. I managed in the 30s once. In my RT/10 which got just a little worse mpg, my worst was 4.4 mpg.

I get as much as 19.5 if I stay in 5th gear for the entire trip. A little more if I'm in 6th.
I get about half that in the city.

Haha, I have absolutely no idea. When people ask me, I just say the numbers off the window sticker but I drive it and when it needs gas, it gets filled up, end of story.

In my 2008, I got 25.6 mpg from Dallas to West, Texas (~70 miles or so) and then got a little over 20 from West to Austin, TX (more 120+ MPH runs). I average 14-15mpg combined hwy/city normally. Anyone that's ridden with me would agree that I keep my foot in it pretty good.

LOL, your mileage may vary. I consider myself lucky to have this particular car. Makes great power, and good gas mileage
