my car looks lowered but not sure... my coilover springs are blue and are adjustable ....but dont know if thats what stock looks like... my rear tires rub on top where the inner fender well is. the tires rubbed a hole throught the plastic so i know its low... also there is a mopar sticker on my coilovers if that helps i know there is a Race Suspension Kit thay sell??????? thanks btw...car came from a dealer and wont disclose previous owner so i can ask and the dealer dosnt know anything about mods!
If they are adjustable, they are not stock. That is weird that the dealer you bought it from won't give information out. I don't know of any dealer that chooses to do that.
Post what year your car is, what type and what your tire size is so we can try and better help you. Pics too from away from the car so we can see what the height is....
need pics.... do some research and learn how to upload them. It will be very helpful in the future. Do a search for "how to upload pictures" and see what pops up.
My KW's are silver w/yellow springs, I think you have the mopar performance set up.
You need to get someone to adjust them, for both height and rebound. I tore through both rear inner wheel wells on my coupe tracking at Willow Springs.
After you continue to tear them up, next is a screw head that will put a groove into your tire.
there are two pieces that list for about $500 plus per side. I got mine used from X2 for about $180 per side. All gen III coupes and verts use the same ones.
Those are KW Variant 3's (very similar to the new ACR set up).
Looking at the rear, when my car was too low, the bottom collar was only 1/4" into the treads, DC adjusted them up in height 1/2 inch and now you can see about 1" of the bottom threads. I see alot more on your's. Mine are variant 2's but I think they set up the same way.
You need to get someone to readjust. Go to the KW-suspension site and you can find instructional information that may help you understand if their set wrong.
In you last picture (with the inner fender torn), see that screw head - left of center? It has probably begun cutting into your rear tire, it did on mine. Good luck. Mike
