just wondering, in the aftermarket world of street car, what is the fastest car that each of you has seen that can run on pump gas and drag radials or even street tires ans what do you think it runs in the quarter mile?
pretty much the fast TT Vipers or TT V8 Rx7s. I mean, there are lots of tube frame muscle cars that can run pump gas, but they aren't really street cars. The fast TT Vipers are just as nice as stock.
Pump gas adds a whole new wrinkle to it. The big hp TT cars are going to be limited by pump gas.

This is true. I think mine only dynoed 1173 on pump gas. I see the fastest street car every day when I go look in the garage. I have never got on it though.
That I have seen personally, a few Outlaw class and faster Fox-body mustangs. Big single turbo setups (96-101mm).
Ive seen one run high 7's on drag radials that is driven on the street. The only thing that makes it even stand out is the chute. I hate mustangs generally, but that bitch is scary fast.
These twin turbo Vipers can be driven like a stocker for years and then bust off a 7 or 8 second pass and then run a record setting road course pace.
There are vipers that can run 7s then hold their own on a road course? The suspension isn't vastly different on viper built for a road course and a viper built for a drag strip?
