Update on Dealership Handling of "My 06 Black/Silver Coupe TOTALED by dealership"

Update on e-bay id: volvosanluis, also known as isimports and there handling of the wrecked 2006 viper Coupe situation.

The owner of isimports told me he would find me another 2006 viper coupe and transfer the stereo and rims over from the other viper and honor the same price. It has been 2 months and for the previous several weeks he has not contacted me nor answered any of my calls. He also kept stalling about the totaled Viper saying the insurance company might not total it or might not cover it. Eventually his assistant told me the car was totaled and they never offered me the opportunity to purchase the vehicle. I had already placed a deposit on the car before they totaled it and sold enough personal belongs to buy the car cash so I wouldn't have to touch investments or finance the vehicle. Selling over $50,000 of personal items in a 4 day period I lost at least $10,000 of value had I tried to sell them over a 1 month period. The dealership has been completely unprofessional and I have been waiting on an answer from them since presidents day weekend.

Demand your deposit back.
Tell them they have 3 days to get you a certified check returning your funds or you will initiate legal action.
5K is considered grand larceny in most states...
