man, i just called 360 thinking these wheels are available but Jorden told me, they worked it out and shipped to original buyer. Post pics when you get them. Looks bad ass.
WELL ? WHAT GIVES HERE ? I WAS TOLD THAT WHEELS WERE SHIPPED TO YOU, IM INTERESTED IN WHEELS FROM 360 (BECAUSE THEY ARE LOCAL) BUT IT SEEMS THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN RETURNING E MAIL OR PHONE CALLS SOUNDS LIKE 360 IS OUT IN MY BOOK,
Some pretty nice wheels on this thread. Thought I'd toss mine in here.
flame suit on...
Why the flame suit?
Vettes only get hated on when they try to compare themselves in terms of styling or reliability to the viper. I have never seen a vette guy get ripped on for having a vette. Only when they forget their place. Same way when a viper guy thinks he is in a lambo.
Nice ride. I like the wheels; tastefull. Not over the top and trendy.
As for the bagged viper guy, looking forward to seeing the final product. Don't forget the LEDs, Fuzzy Dice, Bobble Heads, and Old English Writing on the rear window. It will finish off the theme.

My question is this. If the guy has to wait so long for these rims, why not just take a deposti from him instead of all the monies and jerk him around.I can understand Steves frustration but you Jordan also got paid in full so that makes you liable for the product. If you say your a stand up guy, then you shouldn't be fucking him.You already charged him for the wheels adn even if he does go back to his credit card, it's impossible for them to turn around and give him his money back if he has the product...

I for one, would NEVER pay anyone all the money up front. A deposit up to 50% is fair, but the whole enchilada is a little much.

LOL @ "Only when they forget their place". Tommy's Z has been fully redone by Katech and he has a P&M C6RS being built. The "know your place" went out the window with the C6Z.

The P&M C6RS is one bad mo fo!! Did they ever get the sequential shifter worked out?
^ Don't know about the sequential on the C6RS, Frenchian would know better than I. Corvetteforum member "Short Throw" has a hollinger sequential in his C6 road race car... it was about 30k for the gearbox alone.

You still don't get it. What I am saying has nothing to do with the stock performance of the car.
It has to do with no matter what you do the corvette is NOT an exotic nor will it ever be one. THe fact that is America's longest running, best-known sports car prevents any chance of it being an exotic by default. If you took an enzo and threw a corvette nameplate on it and produced it by the 10s of thousands, it would no longer be an exotic.
My point is. FACT- Viper has a bigger, more potentially powerful engine. If you argue this you are dumb. It is like trying to argue that Bruce Lee is more potentially powerfull than, let's say, Triple H or John Cena.
Bruce lee and the vette are high strung little guys. Triple H/ Cena and the viper are big burly guys that are decievingly quick . In the end, the big guys can take a much bigger beating, regardless of how quick or fast Lee is.
If you don't understand the analogy, this is for you: If you were to give percentages of what level a car is living up to compared to its overall capability, this is what you would approximately have, IMO:
Reliability is a component in these figures:
The current Zo6 and Zr1 are at about 95-99% of their reliable production capabilities. THere is not left to be squeezed.
The viper on the other hand is at maybe 60-65 % of its capability. Plenty of room to increase suspension, HP, brakes, weight, etc etc etc.
THe Z06 and ZR1 are nothing new. The Z06 has been out for years as the MTI Z07. All it is is a factory tuned car. MAx for MAx. The viper will always have more power. It is simple math and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.
Viper and FGT should be compared. Not the vette. The vette is an American Sports car...i.e. mustang, GTO, camaro. THe Viper and FGT are American Exotics anyway you cut it.
None of this is a directed attack. Just blabbing my mouth
BgCk13 makes an interesting point. True, there are way more vettes out there than there will ever be Vipers. I firmly believe that the current Z and soon to be released ZR1 owe much of their development to directly compete with the Viper as well as others
I'm fortinute to be able to buy just about any car I wish. I chose the Z for me. But, like BgCk13 pointed out, there is room for improvment. I believe Katech is to GM what AMG is to Benz. So, My Z went through a transformation in almost every respect. My soon to be built Pratt & Miller C6RS will most definately fall into the exotic catagory.
The Viper is an awsome example of American know how and a source of national pride. Let's hope the Viper continues to trade blows with Corvette in years to come.
