Bad news, VIR track was wet this morning and we spun on one of the turns. This will likely cost us some valuable points and thus cost us our chance to catch the leader. Chris will continue to press on and I am sure that he will win a majority of the remaining events.

there is always a chance i suppose. davia and the porsche have won the last 4 years in a row because mark just makes very few mistakes. there are still several events left and anything could happen. i am sure chris will continue to go out and do well and take some more overall wins before its over. this is kind of like a golf game tho. we can go out and birdie the rest of the holes, but the leader is going to have to crash his golf cart into the lake for us to catch him.

LOL, nice analogy. The one nice thing about the cumulative point system is it affects you the same the last day as first. With Davia's abs not working maybe that will create a similar influx today or tomorrow.

What turn did you off? Turn 3 and 10 are crappy wet, but not a place to lose *alot* of time....T14 or 1? You can go waaay off there and lose more time to bring down the 3 lap ave.

I thought you guys had 3 events there or something....what are the other 2?

How is Danny Popp running there? He was one fast bitch there this summer when I ran with him and others at the Ultimate track car challenge.

Chris and the ACR got back on track with a run in the dry on the big course at VIR. We took another first place overall finish and beat the Porsche by 15 sec.

Shit this car is fast. For all of you that are not familiar with VIR let me put the Viper's time of 6:10 in perspective -

thats a rough average of 2:03 per lap on the fullcourse. That is faster than the SCCA T1 track record. Lol. Good job guys. A street legal racecar it definately is.

Nascar nudge baby...nascar nudge. (Help that golf cart along a little)l Or, who knows, they could hit a deer on the way to the next event...anybody got a deer costume? LOL Just kidding, keep up the good fight. Everyone knows (ok, not everyone) that the Viper ain't the best on the wet course...(anybody who has ever driven one that is).

Whatever the end results may be, it is obvious that the ACR Viper absolutely dominated the competiton. John Hennessey has once again established himself as the premier Viper hero. God bless you, John. Ass whippings don't get much more severe than this year's One Lap of America.

Mark is the king of the one lap. Great driver, solid fast car and cool under pressure.

So, now the paddock rumors are that the ACR is running illegal R compounds. Guess they haven't heard of the new for 08 , Viper specific PS2s. Haha. So, that's your secret weapon!

less agressive suspension (factory kw system is designed for sport cups)
race seat
5-point harness
track alignment spec
used set of sidewinder wheels with 18/19 ps2 tires (oem 2008 viper spec)

that's it. if somebody is suggesting that we have some sort of traction control, gps track navigation, robotic steering system, kung-foo grip shifter, all-wheel drive, undercar suction device, then they are simply embarassing themselves by making laughable excuses. as a matter of fact, the porsche cayman has all the electronic aids and nanny's to help keep Ley out of the ditch. the only thing controlling the ACR is a driver whose skill is far superior to this whiner kid who thinks he is some sort of road race ace.

i learned a long time ago, if you get your butt kicked then just say you got beat and move on. nobody likes a whiner much less a whiner with a slow car. i like the cayman and think its a cool car. but this Ley kid is doing his best to make the cayman look more like a chick car. the kid is probably still pissed off that we beat him last year in one lap (he was in a supra) and we had a dnf (cost us 450 pts and the overall win) from a failed clutch and still beat him.
John... i know you know how to spell my name... i mean... u spelled it right when you messaged me last year during the 07 onelap... saying i was running good and you wanted to meet me at Tirerack.....

im really confused why your mad because i accused your car of being even more badass then it already is......

anyways..... if you think im making the Cayman look like a chik car.. ide love to see you drive it...

and we brought a nife to a gun fight this year.. and wernt expecting a overall win.... the Vipers are always ery impressive and have huge speed.... i was sorry to see Brian have the trouble last year.. as it was truly not his fault.....

but the driver this year isnt nearly as cool as Brian.. altho he is a nice guy.... and he made 2 huuge mistakes.. that kep him way out of the lead.... (points wise)

other then the message you sent me last year.. i have no personal experience with you... but to sit here and read what your saying about me... not knowing me at all.... blows my mind a little....

i really have nothing against you..... but u seriously typing that the PSM is keeping me out of a a ditch (im not using any driver aids btw) and i make the cayman look like a girls car...... dont you have more important things to be doing.....

I think you can excuse John for saying things about you after you made a boat load of ridiculous assertions based on nothing by hearsay. You have looked for nothing but excuses as to why the Viper decimated, destroyed, and embarassed the other cars. You try to claim it was some super modified top secret car, when in fact it is a mostly stock car with air filters, headers, exhaust, arguably worse suspension (not for the Ps2 though) and worse tires.
