Its a prideless victory if the viper wins because of your steering angles sensing, diff locking traction control gadgetry. Too bad we couldn't have pulled of this kind of dominance with a regular acr with a few bolt ons.

I see what your saying...just a stock on stock RR. Problem is that the others are def. not stock either as Mark puts it below. Probably more lil tricks in their cars than the ACR and their gettin their asses handed to them, so outcome the usual excuses and accusations..Their basically trying to "Cover their Ass"...
I bet Nissan, Porsche etc. somewhere in some board room w/some big shots in Tokyo, Germany etc. there's a SHOUTING MATCH GOIN ON!

Looks like the Porsche is back to full power and did pretty well on the 2nd session. But the ACR still beat it and got another first place overall finish. That is 9 out of 9 road course wins for the ACR. More details coming soon.
Mark, I jus can't stand it...I hate their lingo, their stupid WAaaaaa Fart Cans..
I guess I'm old school...If something gets the title of "OLD SCHOOL"..ITS BECAUSE IT WORKS!!! These damn RICERS DOWN HERE ARE LIKE A CIRCUS...

Congrats John!!..... keep up the ass kicking.
Its quite funny watching the bickering on 6speed online about the GT R vs the gt3 all while the ACR is destroying them by a long shot and nobody even mentions the viper.
I just got back from CMP. I missed the run this morning but the ACR was damned impressive on the second run. Chris is an amazing driver and a hell of a nice guy.
My god another sweep. This is unfair folks plain and simple LMAO. Everyone else brought a knife to this gunfight. This has to be the most dominant display of nose thumbing of the competition Ive ever seen. I cant wait to see if C&D gives the ACR its just deserve. It should have a few pages dedicated to it aside from the other entrants.
This is simply the automotive equivalent of the Jonestown Massacre. No excuses from any camps. Dont want to hear nothing about a weak field of cars etc. The ACR is beating up on the badest of the bad the past 4 straight years in Davia Porsche. He won a few with the Hen Viper braking or having problems in the past. I dont even think that a 100% Davia Porsche could make a dent in the ACR. Im officially amazed at SRT and what they have accomplished with the ACR in such a short time even if the ACR doesnt win it overall. 9 straight and counting. Incredible.
Congrats Chris, John and SRT.
BTW made this in comemoration of the Massacre at OLA 08.

Just spoke with Chris. They just finished the autocross at BMW and they are now headed towards VIR. Chris thinks they did pretty well in the autocross overall, but we dont know what all the other cars ran so we dont know our overall finish. But we do know that we were 6 seconds quicker than the Davia Porsche. And we are hopeful that there are other cars in between us and Davia which would equal more points gained on the leader.
So we know we gained at least 25 points on the leader at CMP. That would cut his lead to about 75 pts. Its entirely possible we could have gained another 15-25 pts at the autocross.
Let's see what the official results say later tonite. It would be nice to go to VIR only being 50 pts out of the lead. We wont likely gain a lot of points on Davia at VIR tomorrow as he is very strong on that track. However, Friday could be the day we catch him.
Here are the results for Chris and the ACR thus far:
Wet Skidpad - 42nd place
9 road course events - All 1st place finishes
1 dragstrip low et event - 3rd place
1 autocross - ?????? (but we know we finished ahead of the leader)
Racing still left to do between tomorrow and saturday
5 road course events
1 autocross
1 dry skidpad
Right now Davia has to feel like the deer that has been running from the wolf for a few days. He is still in the lead but knows that his demise is coming....

If you get it before June 15 bring it to Hallet and take it on the road course a few times. If you dont, bring that bad boy twin turbo beast, I'd love to see it. Either way, bring a Viper!!
Congrats John, SRT and the drivers for the great results so far. How do you think the ACR would have done without any mods and ran stock?

It still would have been at or near the top. It is one bad ass ride.
As long as the stability/differential control computer is functioning, AKA Chris Winkler, the ACR will continue to hammer the competition. I've called his co-driver Rob Jones a couple of times this week to get the latest info. He's very tired and I hope he and Chris get some quality sleep time in. I'm sure the ACR will be handing out asses on silver platters tomorrow at VIR.

Chris tested the ACR on the handling course (short) at the Chelsea proving ground right before leaving for one lap. The mods were worth 1 sec. per lap. So I would guess that the stock ACR would have done well but would have not been nearly as dominant.
As it stands right now the Porsche has a slight advantage on some of the longer straight aways. A stock ACR would have been far worse in terms of straight line speed.
The points are up for the morning sessions. We gained a total of 20 points and smoked the Porsche again by a wide margin. The gap has now been closed to 80 points.
Looking forward to seeing what the results of the autocross show later tonite.
