Way to go Chris and team. LOL. 7 azzkicks in a row speaks louder than the overall points. However, much respect to Davia's Porsche and all the other OLA'ers.
We need to get this car to Nurburgring to get the respect of the motorworld...most of the motorworld is still jacking off to the lap time of the gtr at Nurburgring
And this idea of supertechno rear ends and stuff. Give me a break!
That's how it is...6/6 is an ass kicking..7/7 I think John and the ACR Viper crew took their "manhood"..
---------------------------------------------------------
I remember when Allan Johnson set the record. (NHRA) He comes out before the run and goes "Hold on to your ass..lets jus say I'm glad I'm not driving it"!! Schumacher goes out and runs a damn 4.42 at 336 MPH.. WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP!! THEN EVERYBODY WAS LIKE "HE'S CHEATING, THIS AND THAT"...
--------------------------------------------------------
Great job.
In response to Rocman's assertions of the mods on the ACR:
"UHHH... it has alot more then that....
as i posted earlier..."
and some more classy stuff:
"i think it is possible that the GTR could be in first.... noone has really takin the lead by storm.... with our performance last year in the supra... we would be in first with it rite now..... we were faster then Davia the first 3 days.. besides the rain at MAM. last year...."
Are you fucking kidding me? I have never seen a slaughter like the ACR is delivering and he is acting like it is just another car. He said they should be fastest at VIR. This guy has gotta be one of the biggest douche fags over there.

Jesus fkn Christ, here we go AGAIN...w/their sorry ass rice excuses.."None has really takin the lead by storm"
-
WTF RACE WAS HE AT?!?!?....UH YOUR ASS WAS JUS HANDED TO YOU 7X OVER. DON'T YA JUS LOVE HOW THEY TRY TO SUGAR COAT EVERYTHING...
FUCKING PUSSY. STICK HIS ASS IN THAT DRAGSTER ONE TIME, I PROMISE HE'LL WANT NO PART OF IT! ...
I'll be the first to admit...I've had my Ass handed to me on lights...I STILL CAN'T BEAT MY DAD AND HIS BUDDIES ON THE DAMN PRACTICE TREE...
GTR = King to X-Box racers (and factory ringers for test results).
In the real world normal principles of physics apply: mass; power; etc.
Great that there is another sportscar on the market--really.
Nevertheless, let's acknowledge the good work done by the ACR and its crew. 7 of 7 is very impressive anyway you slice it--DOMINANCE in the most relevant portion of the whole contest. It really looks like the others are fighting for scraps in the "rigged" categories such as "wet skidpad." Maybe they should also add a category for "existent but non-functional back seat"?
The other thing to remember is that this is not ALMS, etc. where we have several well-funded teams going head-to-head.

It's all sour grapes. Honestly, if I was him, I would probably be making excuses as well. I laughed when he said, the Viper did not win every event because I won one.
I have total confidence that the ACR will keep demolishing all the other cars at the event. I wonder what excuse they will have when it is all over.
Wow... Kingleh is it??? This guys a JOKE..... "
well since the Traction control and electronic dif are stock.... go find some info on it and show us... ide like to know all about it....
and just cause it was delivered to a dodge dealership.. dont meen it aint special.."
This guy is a professional driver?? Maybe I should become a pro driver. Traction control and electronic rear diff is standard in all vipers? When did that tech come out for the vipers did I miss something. Now Im no wizard at cars by any means but even I know the selling point of the viper is NO NANNY TECH.
Bluestreak - the ACR ran 129 mph in the 1/4 mile with the rear wing off. That is about right for a car with heat soak on a warm / humid day. It's a 132 mph car on a standard DA day with better driver and no heat soak.
Here is the deal: 2 road race events at CMP today. And after that there is an autocross at the BMW facility in SC. So we have a chance to cut more into the P-car lead. Let's see what happens. My money is on Chris and the ACR.
By the way, dont tell anybody about our secret titatnium muffler bearings - our real secret weapon!
I just spoke with Erich Heuscle (Kowalski) who is running with Super Soul (Ralph Gilles) in their backup Vanishing Point 2008 Challenger. Here is the report I got after the first session at CMP this morning:
It appears that Chris and the ACR have taken another first place overall finish - 8 out of 8 so far on road courses. The leader, Mark Davia in his 996TT appears to be having issues again and was 30 sec. behind the ACR's time. So we dont know what place he got but its likely that there are other cars in between the ACR and the Porsche. So this could help us close the 100 pt gap between us and the lead. If Davia got 6th place them we would gain 30 pts and only be down by 70. But until the official results are posted, we have no way of knowing whether we gained 5 pts or 50 pts. Either way, we continue to come from behind and chip away at the lead.
They will be running a second session at CMP very soon. Davia is waiting on the UPS man to bring him a new computer. Which if it fixes their problem they will keep the points much tighter for the remaining events.
After they get done at CMP, then the One Lappers head to the BMW facility in Spartanburg to run an autocross later today.
It will be interesting to see where the points stand by the end of today. Hopefully we will gain enough points back to be able to go to VIR tomorrow and be within "striking" distance of the lead.
