gen 3 stand alone ecm

I have a 2004 Gen III engine and trans that is going into a 1969 Charger, dose anyone know of a programable ECM that I can use to basicly trick the engine into thinking its still in the viper chassis.

i would say the AEM, but it has to be modifiyed for then Gen3, Underground raceing has done it before, maybe they can shed some light on it?

Motec will run anything, but AEM will be cheaper. Big Stuff may be an option if you go wild on the combo

The Big Stuff 3 for the Viper is ready to be released soon, it is by far the best stand alone system out there (well except for the Motec)

if you have the stock Gen. 3 harness, the AEM could do it without issue and it would be a plug and play job without any major hurdles. If it was going in a Gen. 3 Viper, you would be in for a far more difficult project. I have made AEM and Motec interfaces for Gen. 1 and Gen. 3 Vipers. PM if you have any questions or need help.


For simplicity and ease of install, AEM is the only way to go (at this time!). The Big Stuff looks like it is going to be an awesome controller when it is finally released. Any idea on the release date??
