Careful buying the V1 off of ebay or "used" and cheap from a punk kid.

Thats why V1 is only sold direct from Valentine. They register the serial number and will only even sell parts like a new power cord to ONLY the origional purchaser.

I friend of mine borrowed one for a road trip and broke the power cord, they wouldn't sell him one.......

They also do fresh software upgrades and will reflash them (for free I think) to keep them state of the art and current as cops technology changes.

I love my V1, for the arrows (I HAVE had a cop approach from the rear) and have also picked up laser from above on an freeway overpass.

The best laser jammers are the Laser Interceptor, LPP, and AL.

So, this is proof positive of the "Search" function on the alley.

I am getting ready to buy a new RADAR due to my current GTS (with built in RADAR) heading off soon to a new home and my new B&W (Currently without RADAR) coming home to me...

Thanks guys... the V1 sounds perfect for me and with the remote display as well, it is going to be just what I need.

OUCH! Spectre-owned.

I think it's Escort has the patent on defeating Spectres, so V1 has to come up with another way to beat 'em. radardetector.net is an excellent source to keep up with on what's the latest and greatest. The general consensus is V1 still does the best job for sniffing out radar, however; if you live in a place that has Spetres, go for a Passport.

Too bad you didn't get that memo.

That really sucks. And I said that in an "I'm chuckling because that really does suck" manner.
