Doug, not to steal any thunder, but have to toot my own horn as well. This is an RSI kit that I purchased, and I contracted through RSI to build the motor but everything was installed by myself.
I had originally installed just the kit on the stock motor with a larger fuel system. I did all fabrication and installation necessary to install this kit on the car, and had Kevin at RSI do the tune.
A few months with 750 rwhp was good, but not enough. I then had Jason get me a short block and have Greg Good port the stock heads. I reassembled the motor and added an AEM along with larger injectors and a cam. The results were good, made about 850 rwhp pump on 8 1/2 lbs and 1122 rwhp race gas on 14 1/2 lbs. About 600 miles later, unfortunately a small problem developed with the motor. The motor was built by LME and Brian @ LME took great care of me, he did not dispute any issues and stepped up to the plate to resolve the issue. The motor was just put back in the car before this event.
Justin @ Tuning concepts was contracted by me for both tunes, he did a wonderful job and the second time around the car made 882 rwhp on the same 8 1/2 lbs of boost, I have yet to do the race gas tune yet as I wanted it done before the tx2k8.
Justin will be returning to help out to get the race gas tune done soon. With what the motor picked up on pump gas and the same boost, I hope I get the same gains with race gas.
I am extremely pleased with the kit and all the people that helped, Tony, Jason and Kevin made it possible for me to do this entire build at my house. Yes the lift I installed helped as much as they did
I would like to thank Doug for letting me use the facilities at the old RSI shop in Houston for the first motor tune, and also John Hennessey for letting me use his facility in Seally for the last tune.
Doug, you need to beat your camera man with a tri pod, then make him use it while filming. Other than the shakes, nice runs.
I was the camera man and if you beat me with a tripod the video will only get shakier!
My first time filming a drag race, we were using a tripod earlier (birdleg tripod) on the bleachers but heads kept getting in the way, So i moved to other side and didn't want to interfere with the film crew so I held it by hand.
Maybe if I give my arm some botox treatments I can film a little steadier

Maybe a camera with image stabilization would help. There's a video I thought was great of a LS1 Firebird that was taken from the burnout box. I tried to get my wife to do it when I was at the track, but she insisted on remaining in the stands.
