I used to pull in all summer long and leave top down in garage. Wont hurt anything. But one day It was cooler so I put top up and got in and drove out, 10 minutes into drive spider dropped a web and landed on my head. Freaked me out, I hate spiders.

Needledss to say, no more top down in the garage. My shit gets sealed up and windows rolled up. Im sure those little bastards can find a way in, this just limits their access.lol

Over time, you'll be shocked to see how filthy the inside of your car gets. Most of it is from actually driving around with the top down, but a fair amount of it is just from leaving it down in the garage. I've completely detailed the interior of my convertibles, left the car in the garage with the top down and hopped in a week later only to find the dash and gauge cluster dusty again.

Also, I'm not sure if the material or design on the SRT-10 is different, but I know that with my SL and with our SRT-6 Roadster, if you leave the top down all the time it will eventually leave creases on the sides of the top, right behind the driver and passenger windows.

Add to that the fact that insects and vermin can get in there, and I think there are enough reasons to support taking the extra one minute to put the top back up even in the garage.

Just my $.02

I haven't had the top up on my car for about 7 months (AZ weather this time of the year is awesome! 89 yesterday!), and throw the cover on it after use. When I do put the top up during the "heat days" in July and August, it's a little tight but that's a good thing!
