Is Hennessey going to ever make the 08 hood vent grills?

I thought I read some thing about Hennessey making the 2008 Viper Hood vent grills?
John if your reading this, whats the word? Are you going to start making them?

yeah, we stopped trying to make them after the factory ones became available a few weeks ago. you should be able to get them from any dealer or jon b.

They're available through Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and other fine retailers/tuners...

the stock ones are cool, but a mesh grill would look much better. I work at a dodge store, the factory ones are pricy............

And I am sure you can get them for under $50,000. They might be in the upcoming catalogs....

anybody got a pic of what the OEM hood grills look like. I got my hood painted today finally, and it looks sick .... but you can definitely see A LOT of the engine and it looks funny with nothing there

I know we made our own mesh covers for the vents in the fairings of my Hayabusa. Check out Hayabusa.org. They cut them out of "gutterguard" mesh from Home Depot and use black silicone for them to adhere. Not sure if there is a mat on the underside of the hood to cover the silicone but if not I wouldn't do it this way cause it doesn't exactly look nice from the back side. We could do this on the bikes and it would still look really good cause there was no way to see the inside of the fairing without unbolting it from the bike.
