Was wondering if anyone has used one?.....seems like a nice system.
Walt
They work amazing Walt and I believe this is the only way Mercedes Benz techs have been changing the oil on all their vehicle for years. No more greasy floors. Sucks out the oil through the dipstick hole.

Cool, it looks like a really slick way for a no mess way to change your oil.
What about all the sediment at the bottom of the pan that drains out in the last minute? It seems like a lot of dirt that is at the bottom of the pan not sucked into the pump would be left behind. I always pull my plug (yes, you can make comments-LOL) and let it drain for hours if possible to get all the crap at the bottom of the pan out.

I did not think about that....I guess it might not be an issue if you change your oil a lot due to hard driving and or racing?

Gary, I thought the same way but according to MB techs the sediment is mostly adhered to the pan and not circulating oil. I suppose it couldnt hurt to drop the pan for a decent cleansing every half dozen changes but there is no way pulling the plug is getting all that sediment out anyway.
Thats what I use to change the oil on the boat's engines. There's no way you're getting down in the bilge and popping a drain plug on the bottom of the engine. Just pump it out the dipstick tube, easy as pie.

If you have sediment in the pan, you have bigger problems than worrying about an oil change.
If you get one Walt, spend the extra 35 bucks and the hi-colonic adapter attachment. Nothing restores the complexion, invigorates the mind, and cleanses the soul better than a king-size turbo assisted hydro therapy dump.

You are becoming my hero.....we are going to need to meet sometime.....maybe you would like to take my car to it's limits sometime.....Kevin says you would be the one....

That's because deep down Kevin doesn't like No Man. Shhh, reverse psychology...

that stuff isnt going to hurt anything if its only sitting in the pan. if the pump picks any of it up, thats why you have an oil filter! either way, i just drop the plug too and let it drain cause my filter is right there anyway.
