clutch issues- need your advice

I have an 03 srt conv that has 10k miles on it.
my clutch is rattling a little and when the car is on at idle i can hear the clutch rattle a llittle. when i press the clutch a little the rattling goes away.
Do you think this just needs adjustment or what could the issue be?
how long does the average clutch last?
what does a clutch replacement cost on an 03 from the dealer?

Thanks for your help

some 03's and 04's had loose bolt issues, including pressure plate bolts that would back out.

I had the damper springs in the clutch disk fail at 7k miles. Started with a rattle sound and the clutch engagement didn't feel right, then shortly after that it made a loud clatter and the car went no where.

how long it lasts is up to you.

I'm back with a stock clutch, my car puts down around 700rwhp so I wont be getting as many miles as someone with a stock car.

I'm not sure what it costs from the dealer I'd imagine you could have the job done for well under a grand. A clutch kit is less than 300 bucks.

My last two clutches do that on my GEN II including the new SPEC 3+ I have in there. I even replaced the pilot bearing to be safe, but I hate this issue. This has happened on my stock and SPEC clutches, so I think it might be a Viper curse :-)
