Planning ahead

I want to mount a camera system in the ACR when it gets here. Anyone have one? Where should I shop? I would like a 3 camera system with sound. I also want a roll bar or something. Any recommendations?

I had my roll bar installed in L.A. at Dan Cragin's. You saw it, it is a great job. You will want a fire extinguisher, belts, stainless steel brake lines and 3m clear film on the nose, side sills and behind the wheels. Dan can do all that in about 10 days to 2 weeks. He should be able to put in camera mounts too.

Do you know if he does the actual camera system? Ron and I will be going there when the ACR arrives. It's gonna be like Christmas shopping.

He'll get some seat time in mine. I want to see what kind of time the old man can get. You are also welcome to take it around the track.

I'm excited since I have never been on a track. It will be an awesome experience.

Get the sundial out for Ron Let me know when you guys head out to WSIR. I'll throw the passenger seat in the race car and we can go play.

Kind offer. Just so you know, the tires are good for about 8-12 sessions before they heat cycle out. One weekend and $1,600 of tires are gone. The tires lose their grip when they heat cycle out.

Wow. The tires are only good for that long? That's not fair! I guess I will not drive that car home on them.
