Full Tank of C-16

Well I asked Kevin if I can run VP-C16 in the car....I have only used pump gas so far but a friend has a barrel of C-16 and he said I could come by and fill up......the cost was only $6.50 a gallon......I think it sells for around 8-9 a gallon....I bought 20 gallons in 4 five gallon jugs.....I just put it in the car and we will take her out tomorrow.

It will be some fun....I am going to run the whole tank out.....looking forward to it.

I just bought some of the NEW Q16. Its the same octane as C16, but its oxygenated (sp). Its supposed to make 5% more HP just by pouring it in the tank!!

C16 is not unleaded or low-leaded...but a leaded fuel. In my experience, running much of it leads to fouling plugs much faster vs. pump gas. I wouldn't worry much about "hurting" anything, since you're tuned for it. You just have to check/change the plugs more frequently vs. pump gas.

Race gas will Not foul your spark plugs. It is Not good for your 02 sensors though. I tank or so wont hurt, but you need to run some pump gas in it after that. The lead in the fuel is bad for them.

I doubt you'll have problems with plugs. Seriously doubt it.
What you will have problems with is 02 sensors. It'll kill them pretty fucking quickly. If the car has cats, it'll destroy those too.

And honestly, unless you plan on cranking up the boost, you won't see any gains. In fact, I would think the car would lose power...quite a bit, in fact.

With the w/m you should be fine running a C-16/ pump mix. 93 pump with the meth. should yield up to 110 octane alone, with an addition of 1/2 a tank of C-16 (rating of 117 octane) it should bring your effective octane rating high enough to sustain a pretty high amount of boost (even at full ignition advance) Running the pump/race mix will also decrease your 02 sensor lead coating dramatically. As far as plugs, You would need to change them for normal maintainance long before the lead poses a problem
Crank that boost up to 17 or 18lbs. and let the grins begin!!

I doubt you do, unless you still have your cats. You may have the O2 simulators though.

I would imagine your car has some sort of Wideband o2 sensor. It does NOT have any o2 sensors that effect how its going to run.
Crank the boost up and go have fun! Be careful though, High Boost is Adictive!

Bro, I hope you read all the spec sheets on the new Q16!!! Supposed to be some really harsh stuff, but great for making power. Buddy of mine runs a ProMod car here and was sent some of that stuff to test with. VP says that in between rounds you are supposed to drain the carb, bowls, lines etc!! The fumes alone can kick your ass!! Try and get ahold of a spec sheet..just FYI.
