We have the weight savings and when tuned with headers, intake, x-pipe, custom tune. The LS7 can make 510rwhp or so. Add a cam and 620rwhp. Stock vs. Stock. Then modded for modded.
The Z had LG headers,Mild to wild exhaust, and a tune..........And still got yanked pretty good. I know I know, Z had a passenger. But as hard as the 08 was pulling you cant honestly tell me ditching the passenger would equal a win.

Mild to Wild exhaust! That's just a switch that allows the butterflys in the stock mufflers to open at will, instead of 3500rpm. So that's not exhaust. And mail order tune?!?!?! Trash for a LS7! Probably took out timing and added a little fuel. He didn't have a intake or a proper x-pipe for those headers. Again both cars are fast. But lets compare apples to apples. Stock vs Stock. Or when mods are done we can go mod for mod. Even though I wouldn't consider that Z to be on the fast side.
Maybe the dyno graph I saw was a little high. So here's a good one with 600rwhp and not even the cold-air intake kit. That's moving no matter how you look at it!

Thats not 620rwhp shit head.. Besides, the bottem end on the LS7 is weak. Anything 600rwhp and over is pushing it on that motor. Now with the Viper motor its a different story. With the forged pistons. It can handle 700 plus HP without blowing up..

So, what are those RPM Heads it has listed? Do those not add any power?
You mean by guys that go over to the vette forum with nothing to say but bullshit. Being that the mods call them trolls?!?!?! And that is just one cam. That's not one of the heavy hitters like the HPE Stage 3 which is over 620rwhp. The LS7 bottom end is weak for boost or spray. But all motor it's not that bad.
