I think its a good deal, but not fantastic. They are probably listing it at the price they are looking to sell at. There are lots of higher mileage cars in the 40's, and this one has more miles than most. I saw another silver 04 for sale for a similar price not too long ago.
And as mentioned above, it is also possible this one had an accident, or maybe has some scratches or paint chips that would make it less desirable as well.
I think there is a low mileage black 03 for sale for 48,900, with near 10k in mods, which seems like an even better deal to me than this one.

I wish you would have found this last week. I could have went by there and checked it out. I doubt its right though. Nothing is cheap in Miami.

I wish that car was in WA state. I'd probably end up trading my car in if everything looked ok on it. Oh well, continuing the search.

It is a shame the residual values are so low on the SRT. It has brought out all the bottom feeders that could never own a Viper. They will probably still need a loan to buy the car. Maybe with the Viper being discontinued the prices will rise enough so we don't see Vipers parked outside Maufactured homes waiting for a carport to be built. There still wobbly boxes even when you strap them to the ground.

Look at the mileage..30-55K for both those cheaper models..
Of course they are gonna be cheap when the market is fluttered with SRT10's from 03-06 hAVING LESS THAN 12k MILES...
iVE SEEN QUITE A FEW LOW MILEAGE 2002 gts'S FOR AROUND 40k LATELY...great time to be a buyer..

I think dodge hurt the residual values by having the exact same colors for 3 years. I know they threw in some yellow, white and the mambas, but the majority of the cars from those 3 years are all the same. Makes the viper in those colors seem kinda plain, which is not what a viper is about. Plus they only had covertibles, which not everyone favors, and no ACR either. Not a lot of choices to be made.
