I don't think he is going to race after he got called out twice in a row
Are you getting a tuner discount for every useless letter you type? As your reading comprehension and ability to post anything relevant to this race is as laughable as that mangina between your legs.
Underdog WTF Twin Turbo versus Paxton supercharged who cares underdog so what you are saying if Kelly loses he was the underdog....
Hey Brainchild. He meant Kevin is the underdawg, due to him driving a s/c car. Wake-up and smell the stench eroding out of your ears from the absense of anything worth a shit up there.
Captain Obvious just called to inform you that there isn't a drag radial available for a 19" wheel. Furthermore, I can't go down to a 17, 16 or 15 without sacrificing my brakes. Is it really that difficult to comprehend through those nutswinging-posting-for-a-tuner-discount glasses? I also gave him the choice to run a 19 or 20 street radial. I guess that was too restrictive as well.
So you can go down to as small a drag radial as you want. If that's 18's, then that's what it is.
You put a drag radial on your car. Kevin puts a drag radial on his car. He spots you 500 rwhp.
I don't understand why you have to try to "level the playing field" on tires but not on horsepower.
It's not like anyone is making you take a turbo off or run the same clutch as whatever is in the GTS.
Quit making rules. Next there's going to be an argument about who had more tire pressure, who had more weight from stereo equipment, etc.
Slap a drag radial on your car, let the other guy do the same. Run 'em.
Besides, I keep hearing about how you guys whip the shit out of every single turbo bike and trailered car in Texas. I don't suppose you tell them what width and aspect ratio tire they have to be on before you'll race them.
Mustang owner: I want a piece of that 1400 rwhp Viper.
SRT-10 owner: I'm sorry, but you do not have the exact same size tire that I do, so I will not race you.
Mustang owner: I thought it was run what you brung.
SRT-10 owner: That's true. As long as all you brought was a 335 35 18 BFG drag radial with no more than 22 psi in them, manufactured after 1/1/08 on a Friday, shipped directly from Goodrich and inspected for special sauce by my friend Ricky.
You guys are are making my head hurt! We spend so much money on cars we become scared of losing. WHO CARES just race. Thats why we spend money and time building cars isnt it?GOOD NIGHT!!!
Thats why no racing happens anymore, either the car is over hyped and both parties are afraid of losing or the car is too powerful and the owner runs it a few times around town then sells it. OR they simply lose interest for what ever reasons.
When Chad first ran the 8.75@163, then UGR with the 8.55 everyone jumped for joy because they were looking forward to seeing the racing progress like it was a few years ago. Who ever tohught those faster times/cars would reduce such a great scene into keyboard racing and bickering. I wish we'd have some more Chad/Roof type battles or a few more Gary J's out there with all the scores of TT and S/C snakes running around.
I'm sure this event will put on a good show though, all the best to you guys.

A LITTLE faith, with ALOT of God's favor is all you need to succeed.
For months you have talked shit about wanting to run a UGR car and how the owners were scared to drive them. Keep in mind these were TT cars you were calling out. Now A blower car with 300 or 400 rwhp less than you being driven by your best Buddy Kevin calls you out and you make up bullshit rules about tire size. No offense dude but that makes you sound like a pussy. Here are the resones I say this.
Correct me if I am wrong but the car Kevin will be racing you in is the stock block Blower package correct? That same package has run high nines before with Kevin stating if they knew then what they know now that car would run a mid 9.
YOU have said if you had a freindly track 9's on street tires would be old news, I assume you are talking about 19 or 20 inch tires. If that is the case Im sure 18 inch drag radials would put you well in the nines maybe lower. In other words with your huge HP atvantage I don't see why you are scared to race kevin in a much weaker car. You must not be nearly as confident in your driving ability as you once were.

I think what is laughable is when someone has challenge you to a race you find a way to get out of it....Kevin said race anything you want so what is your problem? The tires isn't an issue Kevin said show up with whatever you want....
Hey Brainchild. He meant Kevin is the underdawg, due to him driving a s/c car. Wake-up and smell the stench eroding out of your ears from the absense of anything worth a shit up there.
I take it the car was not set on kill for that pass correct??
Not making any excuses for only running a 9.88 but they called us from Rockingham the day before their big pro-mod race and wanted us to bring one of the Viper's. I told them that we had no car ready to run. Then I told him about the street car we had just built and he said bring it. No time and never any testing we decided to take it down there and play around with it. First pass on 10 psi went 10.30@ 150 from there we turned it up to 12-13 psi area and made a few more passes with just adjusting tire pressure to get it in the 9's. It was slammed on the ground with very stiff settings and did not get any transfer. We will use more boost next time and adjust on the suspension. Maybe we can go faster. Passes were made on pump gas and filetrs.. "for the haters"
To answer your question we were on Granny mode.
