1998 Silver Viper GTS Supercharged. RIP www.qualitywires.com wires for your viper and now ceramic coating for your exhaust!
Wow the fly wheel plate had a lot of burn spots and that was with about 7000 miles. Got to be honest I ride the clutch way too much. Dog gone it I have got to stop doing that.
Can't wait to see the pics of the powder coated valve covers and intake. I need to get a new X Metal throttle body.
Adam-If possible-I would like to hear a sound clip of the exhaust. I think you put one on about a year ago but a lot of changes have been made to exhaust system. Like to see a pic of the flame thrower.
Gene is adding more things as we go along. I am trying to get his car back to him, but he loves having mods done to it. LOL!
We got his polished plenum from DLM and awaiting the valve covers for his car from xmetal. So his entire system will look very shiney.
He is also adding a wideband, poly motor mounts, trans mounts and a few other knick knacks. Just changed his SC belt which is tougher than it looks, but not too bad. I made a special tool to help release the belt. DLM uses a stronger tensioner than what paxton uses to help with belt slippage (prevent). Not a lot of pics right now, but we will have more up. Just waiting on parts to come in.
I had second thoughts about powder coating the valve covers and intake-so we went with the polished intake and X Metal VC.
I can't say enough about the quality work that Adam does-how fortunate I am to have someone like Adam to work on my Viper. He calls me about every day to give me updates and then post these great pics of the work done.
Adams takes the necessary time to make sure everything is done to perfection.
BTW-I am having Adam to install a PLX Devices wideband AFR gauge-the DM 100-with two PLX small sensors mounted under the dash so I can read both Afr and boost in one gauge. In fact you can, with 4 sensors, have 4 different gauge readings in one gauge. I am sure Adam will put on pics of this install. Its a interesting gauge-you can read the full gauge or both gauges at the same time. As you noticed it is done by a remote the size of a key fob. You can also bring up certain graph readings and change to a lot of different gauge faces.
Never used the gauge before so I am anxious to see how it performs.
Dammmmm..
I think you might have too much time on your hands :-).......
just kiddin good job in the DIY update
your car is fuckin bad ass by the way.... one of the cleanest vipers Ive ever seen
cant wait to see the new engine pics, please post them soon.......
Here's some more pictures of your progress. No more mods Gene! Let's get this baby on the road! . Got a few more things to do to it. I got another Ferrari coming in next weekend for some majors. I really need that larger garage.
Man, great work! When I saw the 1st pic I thought it was a salvage car. It looked like shit, now it is one of the best I have seen. Great work and congrats to the owner.

It's amazing how my wires can make a car look good. LOL! Notice the Ferrari flag on the plenum. heh!
Beautiful car and work. Have you got a link to DLM and a price on the polished intake? I've been considering having it done but haven't found a good local shop. Thanks for the info. Sal
