Talking about maning up? I think the Viper guys need to "man up" and just admit that they can't touch a Z06 even when it is outpowered by 60 rwhp. Instead, and proving more so that they are full of shit and they know it, they just stay behind the keyboard, claim that a Z06 would never beat a 600 rwhp Viper, and never come out to PROVE it. While I, unlike them, am trying to actually set this race up.

Fadi for all the smack you talk man.....You'd think it would take more than roller rockers/exhaust for a "slow" 2003 SRT10 to beat a C6Z06....LOL...I won 2 out of 3 of the races we had......Imagine if I had another 70 rwhp and was rolling a 2008 SRT10..Got dayum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thatr would be a massacre
From a dig my SRT10 puts a car on the Z06 from 0-60 mph and the vette stays a car behind till 140 mph..
round 2...My SRT10 puts 2 cars on the Z06 bye 60 mph and then the Z06 almost looses it in second and is 7 plus cars back when I shut down a 120 mph...
Round 3....The Z06 puts a car on my SRT10 by 60 mph and I stay 1 car behind till 140 mph ( I bogged pretty bad off the line)
Pretty fun races...
Then me and the 2002 ACR viper went and had a lil fun...From 60-100 mph I was around 2 cars in front of him....But then he started closing the gap and by 140 mph was 1 car behind me....
Fun race as well...Of course all this happenned on Xbox 360 if you happen to be a cop

Hmmm, that's a high stock RWHP on the Z06. They are pretty consistant at 435 RWHP + or - 5 RWHP
I was driving the z06 all day long and Tornado calls me and asks if I want to dyno with him. I say sure. We did the pulls. He made 459 or something.. and I made 455. I was impressed to say the least. We asked if any other C6Z06's dyno'd and the shop owner said one other, but it made 435. I'm pretty sure that 435 is pretty average.. but I've seen others on forums making more than mine at 465 stock.
As for the wins.. dig racing.. is always a drivers race.
Hell, If I fart and step to hard on the gas due to a shift in the ass cheeks.. I could spin out..
I haven't practiced launching the z at all.. while you go out every night and practice launching and running your Gtec 1/4th mile? of course your going to beat me. but I garuntee you that If I was out there practicing as much as you, I'd beat you consistently.
we already did countless pulls on the freeway, and it was always the same out come.
But... I know that stock for stock.. the Z can't touch the 08 viper. I would need a serious engine package to keep up with it.

Sorry I gotta disagree. You beat me multiple times on the freeway by 1-2 cars when my harland sharps roller rockers were loose and about to give out ( wich they did)..But after retightening them..Well we got up to around 140 mph on two runs and each time we were pretty much paceing each other...If one car had anadvantage over the other then it would have become evident towards the end of third gear ( 120ish for both cars)...But we both switched to fourth gear and I saw 140-145 mph twice..And we were within a car length of each other each time..Once with you a car in front and once with me a car in front...
Our runs simply showed what many videos have shown lately..That a 470 ish rwhp SRT10 can run dead even with a 450ish c6Z06...
As far as beating me consistently from a dig..Your way off...
I ran a 12.1 our first race ( when i beat you by a car)and a 12.4 our second race ( when you almost lost it) and a 12.2 our third race...( when you beat me by a car)....
12.1's suck as I can normally pull off 11.9's with no problem and have a few 11.8's and one 11.7 under my belt....Im sure you can do better than you did that night...But I KNOW I can do much better. I was actually pretty dissapointed that the few times I run another worthy car that I run 12's.....LOL
So the Viper has to have approx 20 more RWHP it seems to stay even with the Z06.
But we are forgeting torque in the equation.
I wonder what #'s are there?
Well there ya go. That extra 60 RWT helps quite a bit.
I'm a little surprised with the extra few hundred lbs of the Viper and the 3:07's that it didn't need more to hang with the Z.
driver mod is needed for the Z06.. it'll happen. but no doubt that viper is deadly from a dig.. with 490 rwtq.. instant pull. I'm just glad that I can hang with a modded car from a dig and beat it from a roll. lol
