Fadi..Why do you think a 530 rwhp cammed Z06 will beat a 600 rwhp bolt on Viper?????
A 450 rwhp Z06 is only trapping 3-4 mph higher than a 450 rwhp 03-06 Viper...A good driver in the 03-06 SRT10 will hit 122.xx...A good driver in the C6Z06 will hit 125.xx..You your self only trapped 125 mph in your 100% bone stock C6Z06..Then with some very minor mods you trapped 126 mph..
Thats with 450 rwhp VS 450 rwhp..3-4 mph advantage for the Z06..How much rwhp dose it take for the 03-06 SRT10 to gain back the 3-4 mph???? Only 30-40 rwhp or roughly a 480-490 rwhp 03-06 SRT10 to run even with the 450 rwhp C6Z06...
But were not talking 30-40 rwhp advantage for the Viper...Were talking 540 PLUS rwhp for your cammed Z06 VS 600 plus RWHP for the bolt on viper...60 PLUS rwhp
In the 1/4 mile from 0-130 mph I think you'de be close..maybe only 2 car lengths behind due to your wait and gearing....
But from a roll it will be a 3200 pound 540 rwhp .34 drag car VRS a 3450 pound car with 600 rwhp .38 drag car... You'll be around 1/2 a second slower to 150 mph...

The C6Z is a has been. it was the car to have when it came out in the 2006 model but now everyone has one with over 20K+ produced its over already. For the Vette guys the ZR1 is the car to have. Neither car will ever have the road presence of the Viper.

+1. Sadi's banter was a bit repetitive, and sometimes long to read. He's another non-believer in paragraphs, but he was fun to have around. Fearless, and with the tenacity of a pitt bull. I never scrapped with him simply because I knew I didn't have that much time to invest countering his bizarre and self diluted wit. Good guy.
High Hopes a.k.a Fadi should get banned... Anyone claiming the Z06 is better and faster than all Vipers and asking to race Viper owners with a Z06 they don't own deserves to get banned. All that shit talking about getting a Gallardo and really ends up ordering a Z06, way to show everyone how budget minded you are. The guy is a brain washed Z06 whore, who can barely afford a Z06 and is trying to stir up the alley by throwing out random challenges. Someone should go to this guys house in their Viper and tape his reaction, maybe even throw a few eggs in his direction, then we can upload it on a sticky thread and enjoy a good laugh each day.
Since I have owned a couple z06's and never a viper and hopefully one
day will own a viper and have sold the z06's I guess my opinion is unbiased. Fadi everything I have heard the alley guys say about you sums it all up. enjoy
Hello i'm from Corvetteforum.com and I come over here time 2 time just learn more about Viper's, hell I go over to M5 & MBworld to do the same. Anyway I have a 07 Zo6 and love it. I also love the new Viper. I think it is a great looking and great performing sports car. How can you argue 540rwhp stock? I would've gotten one, but I couldn't fit (6'7 260)(yes I played B-ball) Anyway I have been following this thread & all threads with Zo6 vs Viper. I have no idea why all the hate is coming from the Zo6 guys on here. I don't know but I believe a new Viper with Headers & a Tune Trapping what was it 137 would kill a C6 Zo6. That is F-ing impressive, for not evening touching the intake, heads & cam. Anyway all Zo6 owners are not hostile & believe their car is untouchable, there is always & I mean always something faster. I think when we trash talk a little in good fun, it is just that "Fun". But sometimes it seems to go a little overboard.
Also I am not some old gold chain wearing dude, who doesn't see anything past 55mph, i'm 32 and love get a good run in time to time.
Sshark, we understand not all Z06 owners are as hostile or in this case as ignorant as Fadi. My brother in law also has a Z06 and he is a very open minded sports car enthusiast. He respects the Vipers for what they are and their potential. Hell, we drive each others cars occasionally. Unfortunately, you will always get the guys who go straight by the magazine numbers and since they don't own the car of their dreams (Z06), they choose to try and make the Viper owners feel insecure by reinforming us of the stats which we are already aware of. Let the ignorant stay ignorant, it's their only way of finding anything that resembles happiness
