Now that it is ordered......

what else can I do to reduce weight in the ACR? Aren't the stock seats on the heavy side? I ordered it with the hardcore package, but I think it is still on the heavy side. I want an adjustable seat, like the Sparco Milano. Any thoughts?

I'm sure you can get some carbon fiber seats but aside from the weight, where do you think you will find higher quality seats than the original seats? Here are some carbon fiber Sparco seats at a discount price of $3000 per seat. Sparco USA

Sparco makes awesome seats. Sparco made the seats for the FGT with the carbon backs. I dont care about carbon backs, but the stock seats are thick as hell, which makes me think they are heavy.

Rocman....I've got an ACR on order too and one weight saving measure I was considering was pointed out by someone on another thread awhile back. Check out the website Voltphreaks - Home)

After meeting you Mark it's either $12,000 in carbon fiber or $600 for a treadmill

Wait what am I laughing at

It's all muscle, it's just resting.

That's why I opted for the hardcore package, it is like an instant diet.

Stock seats are very heavy. I had mine out to put in the 2" lowering kit and was surprised how heavy they are.

I have seen some seats in the 16 pound range, so I will be at 32 pounds for a pair of seats, which would save me around 60-70 pounds. That sounds promising.

Thanks Plum! It's going to be all black with red drivers stripe. I am also going to add a red pinstripe to the wheels.

I think it is going to look killer.

I don't think 12.8V @ 400 amps will do a very good job starting a Viper. You might need two.

10K....would the 6 lb. version with 900 amps (cranking) and 625 amps (cold cranking) work for the Viper? I am seriously thinking about going with this. Thank you.

Mark, you can always go with a Lexan windshield and rear window, it'll probably save you 60 lbs.

I don't believe those batteries are for every day use but rather just for competition (short term).

Send it to me over here in West Tx and I will dramatically reduce the weight of the rear tires and then send it back. My services are garaunted!
