Front Calipers?

Hi I am looking at upgrading my front brakes on my Dakota project truck. I am looking at using a set of SRT8 rotors along with some 03 or newer viper calipers and was wondering where would be a good place to look for a good used set and what kind of pricing should I be looking at? Also what calipers would you suggest for a good match for the rear? Do you happen to know what thickness the stock rear viper rotors are? Also are the SRT 10 Ram caliper the same as the viper ones?

Thanks

Most will use the Gen II Viper brakes to upgrade the Dakotas. They will use the complete front and rear sets(13" rotors F&R). I have a complete set I was going to put up on ebay. PM me if interested.

Thanks for the offer but I am wanting to go with the newer calipers. My Dakota project is a 87 so I already got some custom 5 bolt hubs on the go and will have to makes some custom caliper brackets once I get some calipers.

Major modification for the Gen 3 Calipers. Check out my signature for the link on cardomain to show my progress on my Gen 3 conversion. My knuckle is at the fab shop now for modification. If you are willing to "downgrade" to Gen 2 calipers check out this site Brembo Viper Brakes Conversion Kit they have everything you need.

Thanks for the info but that will not work on my Dakota at all as mine is an 87 does not use the same spindle setup at all . The 87 uses a one piece bearing/hub setup stock. So I am getting a custom hub made to mount some 14 inch 5 bolt rotors from a SRT8 . Then if I can find a set of Viper calipers I will make a custom bracket to mount them. The 87 - 96 Dakota uses a similar spindle design to old darts/cudas/chargers or even Rams up to 93.

Thanks for the info though.
