I bet you he made it....looks as though they just put the tires into the cabin for transport or storage....you can see in one pic both right side tires are shoved in there and the hood is thrown over the top of everything....from the looks of it the impact was on the passenger side.....

You can probably write off the trans due to the driveshaft getting stuffed in it.

The wheel was just placed in the car for transport but I would have trouble believing the driver made it. Here is a link to a viper wrecking at 100 MPH plus, rolled, end over end and the driver lived.
